The heritage walk was very informative. Led by mr. Muhammed. Really enjoyed it with my wife.

Although this is undoubtedly a luxury hotel it is not our style. This hotel is for the new upper class Indian society. Almost everyone was dressed " western style" and we found the staff to be artificially correct and polite. We had requested a late check out but were told that availability was only possible if we paid 150 euros to upgrade. The restaurant prices were considerably higher than all the other hotels we had stayed in. To be fair our room was excellent and the installations are worthy of a first class establishment but for me it is lacking in traditional Indian hospitality.

This is day is special for us as wedding anniversary . Perfect location , lovely atmosphere, best rates & finally awesome fresh food . Staff is so so cordial - Mr Sarvanan n excellent team in the Machan restaurant served us with utmost care .

We had a wonderful time at Taj West End, a property that beautifully blends history with tranquility. Though we missed the scheduled heritage walk, Mohammad went out of his way to give us a personal tour, and it turned out to be the highlight of our visit. He walked us through the fascinating legacy of the hotel with such detail and enthusiasm, making the experience feel truly special. The property itself is stunning—lush gardens, towering old trees, and charming colonial architecture that transport you to another era. It feels less like a hotel and more like a peaceful retreat tucked within the city. Every path and corner has a story to tell. Grateful to Mohammad for his kindness and for making our visit so memorable.

A truly unforgettable experience at Taj West End. We happened to miss the scheduled heritage tour, but what followed was even more special. Mohammad graciously stepped in and personally guided us through the property, sharing rich stories of its deep colonial heritage with incredible passion. The sprawling, tree-lined avenues, century-old rain trees, and beautifully preserved architecture give the property a rare old-world charm that feels like an oasis in the heart of the city. Every corner—from the quaint pathways to the serene garden spaces—felt thoughtfully curated and steeped in history. His warmth and attention made the experience feel intimate and exclusive. Walking through the lush greenery and soaking in the timeless beauty of the place was absolutely magical. A heartfelt thank you to Mohammad for turning a missed plan into a highlight of our visit.

The restaurant options are not good enough. The place is dated and needs refurbishing. The staff needs to be more responsive and helpful
