Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Keene Downtown

Didn't stay because it was not appealing.

Everything was a bit dated, not in a good way. Old building did not embrace the history, just seemed to want to distract with "modern" decor. Very strange.

We've stayed at this hotel before and have always enjoyed it. This time we were given an upgrade which was particularly nice. The breakfasts are very good. The people at the desk are always very kind and helpful and the location is wonderful. My quibble (and it's a small one) is that there is no pad and pen or pencil by the telephone. Nor are there the little goodies like hand lotion that one half expects.

It was just ok-layout was awful, parking was terrible. Understaffed and breakfast person was lazy

The location was great but the hotel needed some updates. Unfortunately there was strong marijuana odors in the hallways that was quite unpleasant.

What a pleasant surprise…a boutique Fairfield Inn by Marriott. With only 40 rooms in a historic building and a friendly staff, this is definitely an excellent small hotel. Excellent breakfast and good restaurants within walking distance. Our room on the 3rd floor was very large.

ac was broken so a window unit was installed. it was loud and not big enough to cool the room

Had high hopes for this hotel based on the reviews and photos but it was very disappointing. The hotel is extremely run down. The rooms really need renovation. Evening check-in was chaotic. The staff was nice and breakfast was decent and we appreciated that, but otherwise it does not live up to Marriott standards :(

Poor entry/ check in plan. AC didn’t work and it’s clear they know it’s and issue. Just a terrible hotel lay out and too much updating needed in it.

We rented a 2 floor suite and the ac didn’t work at all on the second floor. We asked them to fix it twice. They didn’t. They refused to move us to another room. They said ‘well, it’s an old building.’ A total disappointment for the price we paid. Nice neighborhood, free breakfast was good, Free parking.

Second time to stay here and unfortunately second time was not as good as first trip two years ago. Bed was hard, elevator was out on last day. It was convenient to our business but we may consider other options next time.
