"Very pretty, great location, but needs some work."

The location of the marina is ideal for being downtown Port Jeff and enjoying the local sites. We had an upgraded room that had a balcony overlooking water, which was nice because they had live music outside every night we were there and we could enjoy our coffee in the morning overlooking the water.

We stayed here 8+ years ago, and it was extremely well managed and maintained. Because of this, when they offered an upgraded room at a discount, we jumped on it. Unfortunately, the room had several issues. The shower had mildew and some of the outlets didnโ€™t work properly. The room did not have a safe to put valuables in, which made me nervous. Also, Iโ€™m glad to see that they are starting to repair some of the worn areas, but they need to start hammering at 8:30am? No elevator in the area we stayed. This hotel has no room service, which seems out of place considering the price tag. When I asked about spa services after having a hard time booking them online, stopping by on Sat at noon, & calling, even the front desk couldnโ€™t reach them or book something.

Location, view from room, and room appointments were nice. The area and restaurants ambiance created a comfortable atmosphere.

There was an event going on in the room and patio area below our hotel room. The event started before 7 pm with loud music vibrating the floor in our room. There was a break between 9-11:30 pm and then an after party that started at 11:30 pm and didnโ€™t end until 2 am. We were compensated for 50 percent return of one night of our stay. However, the monetary resolution did not compensate for lack of sleep. Moreover, we were paying $600 a night !
