Marriott Hartford/Windsor Airport

Everyone working here was friendly, professional and helpful. Check in and check out was easy; we wanted a room on the back of the hotel. Wasn’t a problem and able to park near one of the rear doors, to easily unload and load our car. Room was nice, bed comfortable, coffee machine, fridge, safe, desk, and table by the couch. Weekends didn’t hear any traffic or people in the hallways. Weekends have buffet breakfast or menu; menu option day we checked out, on Monday. We didn’t eat any other meals there. Eggs Benedict, fruit, granola, were tasty options. Plenty of seating each time we went to breakfast, coffee served rapidly, and orders as we requested. We stayed there, as it was close to a family wedding. Really easy drive to/from here and plenty of parking here. We didn’t use the gym or pool, but saw many others using them. Only negatives: air is dry in room and cook put too much cereal on the crunchy french toast. Waitress said one cook makes it just right, other cook (which we had), puts too much on. There was about a bowl of cereal and most went back with the dish.

I have never been to a Marriott property that was so poorly run and maintained. I had a late flight and it took forever for me to check in because their payment system was down. Then I finally got to my room and it was dirty and smelly, bed unmade, dirty towels everywhere, and I had to go all the way back to the lobby for a new room, which again took forever to sort out. The person at the desk was apologetic, and said they would talk to the manager, but I never heard more about it. When I ordered room service for breakfast, they didn’t bring me silverware, and I had to call the desk again and wait for them to bring it. The hotel itself seems run down, dirty carpet, dirty walls, peeling wallpaper…

My Expedia confirmation number for this stay is 73146506100801 I am writing to express my absolute outrage and deep disappointment following a horrifying experience at your Marriott property located at 28 Day Hill Road, Windsor, CT. I checked in during the early hours of the morning—approximately 1:00 a.m.—only to find the hotel in complete darkness, with no power, no lighting, no WiFi, and no working electrical outlets. This was not only unacceptable—it was unsafe and outright dangerous. I was forced to shower using the flashlight on my phone, and despite being a paying guest, I could not charge my phone or access WiFi until the following evening. The situation escalated when I attempted to leave the room: the entire corridor and elevator area were pitch black. I had to carry my young child and our luggage down six flights of stairs in total darkness. That is an extreme safety hazard and a complete failure of basic hospitality and duty of care. Let me be very clear: This experience was traumatizing, unsafe, and unfit for any guest, much less a parent traveling with a child.

Excellent Marriott!! Ultra clean room, Clean bathroom and all of the hotel was very nicely kept up. Excellent customer service at front desk. Was very happy here while in town for work. The only thing that I would say was the food for room service took an hour and 20 minutes to get a hamburger when I was told it would take about under 30 minutes and I had to call down like four times but they did comp my meal and they were very apologetic but if you stay here would not order room service and the food wasn't that good actually it was cold and they brought it in a paper bag with no utensils or napkins!! However there are several very good restaurants in town that do deliver or are like just a few miles away so the hotel was great and I would stay here again I just would skip the restaurant in order elsewhere. The parking was really nice easy trails to side doors that lead into the hotel felt very safe I was traveling alone they have a really nice indoor pool which I didn't use but it looked very clean with lots of towels and a nice workout room. The bed was super comfy and the desk and chair were very comfortable as I worked for several hours in my room they also have a little table that has a chair and so I ate my dinners with that which was really nice and I have to remove all of my work stuff off the desk to have dinner. I saty in marriotts often for work the hotel chain has really gone down over the years but I feel like this hotel is what a Marriott should be like I actually went to a Sheraton under the Marriott bonvoy about 20 minutes away from this hotel and the hotel was absolutely filthy in Hartford Connecticut I had to leave and so I checked into this Marriott in Windsor Connecticut and it was really a pleasant stay in Surprise

Staff friendly, hotel was clean, spacious room. Breakfast not included.

The room was big and well furnished.

The room's refrigerator was not working. Upon making request, we were told that it is not working, and management will fix the next day! What management is waiting for to fix it if they know? This is very unprofessional and irresponsible behavior. The door pf bathroom was not working, it was not closing. Again upon calling, they said management is aware of that, and they'll fix in on next day!! This is most ridiculous knowing about the issues and not fixing and letting customers not getting the services they paid for. Another thing, the ice dispenser was not working on our floor (6th floor). Upon calling, we were told to go to any other floor to grab it, since they cannot fix it right away. I asked if they can send me ice in my room, but they said they can't provide that, i have to check other floors to figure out. Overall, i find it very bad service, and not worth the money at all. I would rate it very poor service and management and very non-helping customer service. Definitely would not recommend to anyone.

Needs a grab and go breakfast spot.

A good option for short stays. Good proximity, but not at all congested.

It was enjoyable to stay, clean hotel , dining was good too

Room service food is delivered in a paper bag and most times you need to go and get it yourself. Tea and coffee are not replenished in the rooms
