Marriott Hartford/Windsor Airport

Generally, dirty. Bathrooms had a large water stain at the ceiling with mold forming. Bathroom shower had red mildew corners. Room was dusty. Gym had hair ties, small papers and qtips on the floor. Slow kitchen / breakfast service (30mins for 2 plates of eggs) while it was not crowded, probably 25% capacity.

We booked a room with 2 queen beds for a recent stay. When we arrived, it was almost 10:00 PM and they informed us that they only had a room with a king bed. When I explained I had booked a room with 2 beds, they said there was nothing they could do. When I asked if there was a cot available or any other arrangements I was just told no and offered 2 waters and a breakfast, which we could not use. Another employee at least attempted to make a call about a cot and was at least sympathetic to the situation. It was too late to try and book another hotel, as we had to be on the road early the next morning. So I paid full rate to sleep on a floor. Customer service is really a thing of the past.

I was in the hotel lounge and was serviced by Douglas. His friendly attitude and dedication really stood out and made my stay more enjoyable. I would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel thanks to his service.

Douglas was amazing, he took amazing care of our group. He was extremely diligent and made sure all of our needs were met. I would highly recommend coming to see him and I guarantee you will be satisfied with his service.

Douglas was such a delight and made me feel so welcomed which is important being so far from home. He made great recommendations and got me to try something new.

Not our best experience. First, they didn't have the room we wanted - a king or queen so we got two double beds. Not a big deal but it fits into the whole theme. Got into the room and the adjoining door was unlocked - not cool. But also fits in. The adjoining room had a tv blasting through the paper thin walls till midnight - lovely. At 2:00 the smoke detector starting going off - it was hard wired so we couldn't take the battery out. When we called the front desk - they put us on hold! Finally they said we'd have to move rooms. They moved us down the hall to a king bed room (thought they didn't have any??) So much for that night's sleep. Food was overly average, salty. and pretty much inedible. Overall experience was pretty horrible - we'd never go back here and we are frequent Marriott visitors. This one was bad
