Comfortable stay
Me and my wife trully enjoyed our stay in this said hotel
I went to this hotel on a business trip. The hotel is a trip back to the 90's, and the rooms look in the need of a renovation. I would rate normally a hotel like this with 3/3.5, but as we had the disgusting experience of seeing a rat with the size of a rabbit running freely in the middle of our breakfast...they get what they deserve. Things got worst as the employees serving breakfast seemed ok with having rats there. Another thing I could not understand were the portable air conditioning equipment placed in the corridors. I would not come back to this place. Ever.
PHWe were booked into here as part of a business trip. The hotel was clean but the rooms and corridors were very smokey. The food was ok and the wifi was free but censored. I didn't manage to get to see the pool but a colleague told me there was a sign that said "it is not allowed to relieve ones bowels in the pool". Poor translation obviously and made me laugh. I wouldn't return.
We stay in the Paviilion for a couple of days whenever we head home from Europe. It is always relaxing and we are very well cared for.
This hotel will be clean and safe, of course, but the room is like a guest bedroom in a home, not ideally suited for a business traveler. The bathroom is small and the door is in the way of the shower- there are few outlets in the room (I had to blow dry my hair with my head behind the TV because the only outlet in the room was charging my phone) and it was annoying not to have an outlet near the bed for those who use their phone as a nightlight or alarm clock. The hallways have several dehumidifiers and there is a feeling of dampness in places. While the lobby is very grand, I think the rooms haven't been updated as recently. Smoking rooms area pollutes the whole hallway.
GBShenzhen is probably the world’s ultimate “Newtown” – except that it accommodates some 12 million people. The city is unbelievably busy, business-like and rather chaotic but it has some superb, world class hotels and the Pavilion is certainly one of them. It is smart, modern, very well equipped and offering excellent service and accommodation. There is nothing to dislike about the Pavilion. Service is excellent, food is just about anything that takes your fancy and every electrical socket in the room accepts whatever device you have and irrespective of what plug is fitted to it. It is the perfect business traveller’s hotel
SGKind of high end hotel in downtown area near the export zone with not really high end service. Price is pretty high. Made some small complain at the 1st floor "German Beer Festival", staff there just act so annoying and arrogantly after a beer arrived with half glass of foam. And told them that you guys did this last year to me and I had complained and you are still do it now? And the cafe manager just walked away with come and paunch me face. Then complained to the sale manager dealing my account, no response. Totally ignored after staying here for more than almost 7 years... Now looking for a new hotel near this area...
Front desk staff is inexperienced booked non smoke room but they still give smoking room then said no room to exchange. After half an hour the problem solved
Clean & comfortable, next to MTR station very convenient.
