It all depends on where in Shenzhen you need to go. But if the Pavilion is close to where you want to be: Go. We had a top-level room, which of course affected our experience. Great view. And we got the extension we needed the day we left.
This hotel is exactly at Huaqiangbei. Just across the street you will find many electronics stores and food to eat. The metro station is just next to the hotel and it is only 20 minutes away from Luohu. I always come to this hotel to stay on a trip. High recommended with friendly staff. For 200RMB they have shuttle bus to Hong Kong Airport. Cheap and fast.
CNJust stayed at the Pavilion Hotel for two nights while on business in Shenzhen. It is near Huaqiang North and there is a subway station two mins from the front lobby of the hotel. It is a rather old hotel and needs renovation but the staff is super friendly and well trained. If they just renovated it I would for sure come back as it is in a busy area of Shenzhen! Their room service was very quick and tasted great! Try the Oreo Cheesecake!!!!

FRVery good breakfast with varied selection and cooks. Good staff, although not all fluent in English. Centrally located. Very good air-condition ! Coffee-tea in the room. There is a Gym, but I didn't get a chance to test it.
USNot 5 star quality and in need of renovation. Regular rooms are "ok" and breakfast is "acceptable". Apparently the renovated the executive levels (but I didn't see them). There are much better places in Shenzhen available. Few people speak English.
One of the best hotels I have stayed at - with one of the best restaurants in China (as far as my experience goes of most of the cities I visited). Very comfi! Great staff, nice overall design. Highly recommend.
This hotel is a bit small for my liking. the furniture looks old, but overall it is still clean and well kept
My wife and I stayed here for one night in transition from Bangkok to home. It was a great deal for the quality of the hotel. We didn't get to try much. I really wanted to check out the indoor pool which looked nice. We will definitely come back to this hotel for a longer stay next time we're in Shenzhen.
