"Filthy"

Cobwebs all over my room, spider infested. Maintenance using power tools right outside my door at 7am. Staff not helpful at all. Someone left a dump in the toilet. Avoid like the plague or you will probably leave with the plague.

"NEVER EVER STAY! EVEN MY DOG DIDN’T WANT TO STAY!"

2.0

Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my life! Never ever book even my dog refused to stay! Very outdated! Good location though, that is the only positive I can think of! No lifts! We was on the top floor without a choice! Parking wasn’t free! Not kept maintained! Would never stay in this hotel even if it was my last resort! Would rather sleep on the streets than have had a night here!

"Stay somewhere else"

4.0

Stayed hear for five nights whilst working locally. On checking in at 17:15 I was told the room was not clean and asked to wait 25 minutes at which point it still was not clean and I was given a different room. The housekeeping staff seem to be overstretched or short staffed. I had noise from the room next door the first night which went on for hours on and off. I raised this with staff the following morning and was given a different room. I had noise on the last night from different residents in the room next door. The walls are paper thin. Staff do not seem to be well trained as the customer service is poor. The rooms are dated and worn. Travelodge should have refurbished the rooms before renting them out. The carpark you only get 15 minutes free to check in and get your bags out the car. Otherwise you have to pay for a minimum of 4 hours parking. The location of the hotel is not great as it is between to busy traffic bridges. So you get noise from cars and sirens from emergency service vehicles throughout the night. I raised a complaint about the noise and customer service via email to the manager after my first night. They havent bothered replying and have since gone on holiday.

"Unpleasant stay."

2.0

This is by far the worse travelodge I’ve stayed in. The room was dirty especially the bathroom. Skirting boards were disgusting the carpets were sticky. Needs a total revamp. All hot breakfast items were very cold especially baked beans. It’s a shame as the location was perfect for the activities we had booked.

"Dated!"

6.0

Usual Travelodge experience, with the exception of the hotel being particularly dated. The breakfast was out of stock of some items and there were no staff around.

"Very old hotel - only worth if you get it very cheap, otherwise, avoid!"

6.0

The hotel just onboarded into Travelodge but does not have the same look yet - very old hotel. Fairly clean in the room but the carpet in the hallways are very dirty. Close to construction area hence expect noises in the morning.
