Can I just pass on my thanks to your amazing reception staff (28th September). My daughter's boyfriend had a fit early this morning and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and caring, calling an ambulance and checking on his welfare. They are an absolute credit to the Travel Lodge team. Thank you so much

Stayed here the week Travelodge acquired this run down building. Back again in 6 months and they have done loads to upgrade the rooms. Had an issue and Steph the assistant manager was amazing. She certainly knows how to treat customers and is an asset to this Travelodge !!!

Paid £80 for a cold room which smelt awful. Strong smell of urine, toilet didn't flush no toilet paper just over all a dim dull stay

Hotel has gone up in standard compared to when it was the camponile.Rooms upgraded to Travelodge standards so the stay is a lot more comfortable making for a much more enjoyable stay. Staff excellent any issues are sorted special thanks to Steph and Chloe

There was 'renovation work' going on, however, as a guest I was not informed of this until I was in the room. There were plenty of opportunities to inform before, such as: during booking, after booking by email, during check in. Instead, it was upon entering the room - a note on the table to say work would happen between 8-6pm every day. Poor show. Do better.

Brilliant staff great hotel - the rooms are clean and spacious and the whole team went above and beyond their job roles.

Old building, aged material, rooms and uncomfortable bed. Very poor breakfast, the eggs got water inside. Paid parking £8 for 24hr.

Stayed there for a stag weekend and a number of rooms were booked - several had mould, stains on bed head, breakfast inedible. Urinal in toilet in recption area blocked and wasn’t fixed during our stay. You might want cheap and yes it’s in the middle of refurbishment but that doesn’t mean lacking in cleanliness and care. It’s put us off travelodge as a place to stay.

I moved three times because of the filth in these rooms I was also shown another two one stank of urine and the other dirty and hair everywhere No soap in two of the rooms and they leave other guests toilet rolls to be used Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere

Staying on a night of a football game so you’d expect a bit of noise. However, you wouldn’t expect drunken shouting, singing, blaring music and profanities throughout in the adjoining rooms. Staff were made aware of this and didn’t give an option to change the room or give a refund. I’d stay away at all costs.
