Marriott's MountainSide

The room was a really good size & the facilities were great. The hotel is in a great location.

Although the pool area was great…it was far too over crowded. I’m not sure how you change this but it felt hectic rather than relaxing.

Mountainside is a great place to stay for a family. Or anyone. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo for 5 of us--4 adults and one active 6 year old. Very comfortable. The pool and hot tubs are great. There are 5 hot tubs! "The Mine", the activity center has at least a couple of activities for children each day and there is a movie theater showing movies throughout the day. As our family flew in to meet us, it was only about a 35 minute drive to pick them up at Salt Lake City airport. Very convenient. There are plenty of hiking trails near the resort. You can walk into town or ride the bus. All very convenient!

What a great girls' trip at the Marriott Mountainside! It is lovely and well thought-out. We stayed in a 1 bedroom (king bed) with full kitchen, large living room (with pull-out couch) and dining table, as well as a washer and dryer (which we took advantage of after some amazing hikes). I can't thank the staff enough! From the front desk to the activity staff - a special shout-out to Molly and Bryce; one day we went with Molly on a short river walk and to Samak Country Store (cheese, ice cream and delicious sandwiches) . Another day I went on a 5-hour trip (again, free! except for what you purchase) with Bryce who brought us to Provo River Falls, then further up the mountains where we enjoyed a leisurely walk around Mirror Lake. I've been to many resorts but never to one whose activities' team provided so many things to do - for all ages. The only downside for me is that I wished they had an adults-only pool, however, I appreciated that the pool was open early in the morning til 11 at night. Loved everything about it! I'm already planning another trip there!

The “villas” advertised on the website/app are misleading. The picture of the 2 bedroom “villa” shows a high ceiling. The picture of the 1 bedroom “villa” shows a high ceiling. The “Guest room” has a low ceiling. Conclusion: get a “villa” and get a nicer, more open room with high ceilings as opposed to the traditional hotel “box.” Had I known that not all 1 bedroom “villas” had a high ceiling (apparently there are only 5), I would have saved money and just reserved a “Guest room.”

This place rocked. Everyone was so nice, the amenities and entertainment was amazing, and the room was perfect. 10/10 would come again.

Honestly, the only thing was that the parking lot gets a bit crammed. But that was overcome by a super nice employee who came out and helped us park a big truck into a tight space. Great people.

I would say this was a good experience. We don’t ski therefore that’s the reason why we visited in summer. Also, we were there for a timeshare presentation. Very pricy as far as Park City is concerned, but still there is a lot of things to do there. We had a 2 bedroom villa and we had six people with us. It was comfortable. Hotel is nice!

Great amenities, the staff is very friendly also location is right in the center of everything.

Our stay there was fantastic! Not our first visit here, but we really enjoyed the stay. The pool was not open the first few days of our stay...no problem, the resort took us a couple of miles into town to swim at the other Marriott. Free shuttle anytime ( tip your driver please). We had a rental car, but we walked most places, and the free shuttle took us other places. In house amenities, gym (thank you Julie) offers a lot of exercise classes and hiking adventures. Great place for kids to play on pool tables and other indoor activities. Swimming pool got pretty busy once it was opened. Fire pits, outdoor grills, and daily on-site entertainment kept us busy. Our third time here...and we are coming back!

Fantastic location at the adventure park and ski lifts out the door. About a 10-15 walk into the main st. Room was big and comfortable. Cameron at the front desk was so nice and helpful!
