Aston at the Maui Banyan

We loved our deluxe one bedroom suite. It was so convenient to have a kitchen and laundry. On top of that we had 2 full bathrooms - so nice for showering. The Maui Banyan is also very conveniently located from 2 great beaches and a number of restaurants and stores - all were within walking distance! We had no issues with noise and loved the tropical garden that was our view. We didn't use the pool - it was crowded every time we thought about it but we were happy with the sandy beaches so it was fine with us. Also there were some other chairs outside of the pool area that we could use instead.

Die Laufdistanz zu einem schönen Sandstrand war super. Ebenso war man schnell auf dem Highway und es gab eine Bar und ein Restaurant, die man zu Fuß erreichen konnte. Ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto war man am lokalen Food Truck Place und bei weiteren netten Restaurants und Bars. Parken und Strandhandtücher waren inklusive. Die Lage ist ruhig.

Die Buchung des Apartments war für uns irreführend. Wir waren zuvor auf Big Island in einem Aston Apartment Komplex und buchten diese Unterkunft auf Maui, da die Beschreibung auf Booking.com jener in Kona entsprach. Dort hatten wir mit Aston gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Hingegen unserer Erwartung gleichen Service und gleiche Ausstattung und Qualität vorzufinden, waren wir hier sehr enttäuscht. Es gab keine voll ausgestattete Küche. Das vorhandene „ Material“ erschien zusammen gestückelt und es gab noch nicht einmal 2 Porzellan Tassen. Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir 3 Pappbecher, in denen teilweise, trotz einschweißen?, Schimmel war. Der Kühlschrank war winzig. Schränke zum verstauen der Kleidung gab es auch nicht. Lediglich 2 kleine Kommoden als Nachttisch. Einen House keeping Service hätte man dazu buchen müssen, teilte man uns mit. Was in Anbetracht des sowieso schon schlechten Preis Leistungsvergleich, wie ein Witz wirkte. Kaffeepads zum nachfüllen wollte man uns mit 3$ pro Stück berechnen wollen. In Kona war dies inklusive. Frische Handtücher erhielten wir nur auf Nachfrage - frische Bettwäsche war für die Dauer unseres Aufenthalt von 8 Nächten !!! nicht vorgesehen und wäre auch nur gegen Zuzahlung möglich gewesen.

Great location ... convenient to everything. I'd stay here again. Parking was convenient and the beach was close. The rooms vary ...; mine was very nice.

Loved the location. Right across the road from a lovely beach ⛱️, gorgeous sunsets and the snorkelling is OK. The washer and dryer was a bonus as we had 6 weeks away. The full kitchen was handy as well. Having a choice of 2 well maintained swimming pools was great, plus lovely clean BBQs. Handy restaurants, just a short walk away. Fred's makes amazing pancakes with coconut cream. The food at Moose McGillycuddies 🫎 was also good.

At times it was a little difficult to get an unreserved carpark. No air-conditioning in the main bedroom might make it hot in summer, we were there in autumn so it wasn't a problem.

This resort is gorgeous! The location is ideal, with the beach directly across from us, great shopping and restaurants easily walkable. I can't imagine anyone not having a great time here.

A very nice stay. Staff was very nice. Get this - it takes 1 min walk to the beach. 1 min! Wow. Owner had chairs and stay was very comfortable. Parking very easy. The Vibe in Kehei is very different than the West side. A very nice spot.

Good location, apartments well appointed with furniture and good array of kitchen appliances etc so you could prepare meals

Is a bit old and dated

I live on Oahu and travel to Maui monthly for business. The Aloha I receive here each time is truly unmatched. Every room I’ve stayed in has been clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The location is ideal, making it easy to get anywhere on the island. This hotel has become my home away from home!
