Marriott's Crystal Shores

We stayed at the Marriott Crystal Shores in Marco Island during the 4th July of week. Our unit was on the 14th floor of the Egret building and had a great view of the pools, beach, and island. The unit, grounds were clean and well kept up during our stay. We opted in for freshen up maid service twice during the week for an extra charge $65/per cleaning The pools had plenty of seating with mostly adults on the top serenity pool and the other 2 pools having younger families. It was easy access to the beach and gulf surprisingly no Sargasm that you see on the FL east side beaches. If you like shelling the beach is perfect place to pick up shells otherwise lots of soft white sand. We rented the beach umbrella and two chairs for the week $145 it was worth it we used them everyday and they will set it up wherever you like for the entire week. We grilled out on the 4th of July and watched the fireworks from our floor entrance passageway it was great as the fireworks barge is just off the coast from the JW Marriott. We mostly ate in for breakfast and lunch and than had dinner out. Lots of restaurant choices close our favorite places to eat at were CJs, Sunset Grill, Marco Prime, DaVincis, and the Italian Deli. The resort staff was friendly and were nice enough to grant us our request for a late checkout at noon on our final day. Two things that I think they could do better with is Pool Wifi and Cell service and the marketplace could be more robust with more offerings. Bonus would have like to seen a 2 for 1 happy hour at the pool.

Advertised as "Three miles of Private beach" The beach is NOT Private.... there were thousands of people on the beach with several public access points within yards of the hotel. False advertising, sham on you Marriott franchise owner. Please correct your false advertisement. Thank You,

Marriott's Crystal Shores Vacation Club on Marco Island is a great luxurious accommodations and excellent amenities. The resort features spacious villas, including two bedrooms, perfect girls trip getaway. Each unit is equipped with full kitchens, in-unit washers and dryers, and private balconies with stunning views. Love the resort's beautiful location on the beach, well-maintained pools, and family-friendly atmosphere. Front desk people are super helpful, kind and very friendly. They are easy to approach, ready to fulfil our needs and very accommodating. Leah the manager was very nice. Nick Cantalano front desk manager is very friendly. Definitely recommended this place . The hotel was beautiful and well maintained. Staff was friendly. The rooms are large and well equiped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The resort is more a home away from home then a hotel.

We stayed at beautiful Crystal Shores in a 11 floor Island View Villa that appeared to be recently refurbished…we had fabulous views of the Gulf of Mexico as well as Marco Island…All associates were friendly and ready to assist…the grounds are beautiful and immaculate…we didn’t use the large pools but did spend a little time,after coming off the beach,at the small zero entry pool that had a children’s water slide..kids had lots of fun…the Beach and Gulf was beautiful…we rented an umbrella and 2 loungers for the week and loved the idea of coming down to the beach anytime and our chairs and umbrella were set up and ready to use..We had lunch at Stilts one day and it was very good….there are plenty of great restaurants nearby…..We had a great time at Crystal Shores and plan on returning next year.. I highly recommend this fabulous resort.

It was off season so there wasn't much activity. The rooms were lovely and clean - ours had a beautiful view of the ocean. Each bedroom had balcony access. Kitchen / living area was spacious. Tight covered parking area but outdoor parking was better. The 2 food venues were basically outdoor seating only which was chilly in the off season. The choice of furniture in the general living area as not as comfy as it could be. We would go back during warmer weather.

We actually stayed next door at The Charter Club, but Crystal Shores need to know that their blasting pool music is beyond not cool. It's really annoying, actually, so ffs turn it down, will ya? We stopped in for some pizza to see what the fuss was all about. Hardly anyone in the outdoor space and the entertainer had her stuff so loud we couldn't have a conversation. Please stop trying to create a party atmosphere on an island that prides itself on calm relaxation.

This place use to be nice and clean. Our room wasn’t ready at 4pm for check in. We stayed on the beach. Came to room around 8-9pm after sunset. And when kids went to Shower the shower would not drain. It would feel up with cloudy water. We called and some took an hour to come and when they come they couldn’t even fix it. They poured acid into it and still would not drain. Water was up to your ankles. This is how you get bacteria on your feet. Management was rude and didn’t care about the issue. We asked if we can have a 1 hour later check out and they said no. It took them 2 hours of trying to fix it and kids couldn’t shower right away to go to sleep and we can’t get 1 hour later check out. Management here would have made sure we were happy. We would not be staying here going forward. We have been bonvoy members for 10 years and this is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place going forward!

What a wonderful resort! We loved the accomodations and the location. It is close to alot of restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back. They went above and beyond with keeping us happy. It was 97% full but were able to accomodate all our needs. Rooms are updated and facility is beautiful!

The beach was crowded with people from outside of the hotel with music so loud that we couldnt rest on the sand quiet. I suggest to take care of that specially if we are paying such a high rate for our villa- Thanks
