Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort

We had an amazing vacation at the Divi!! This inclusive package allowed us dining at a variety of restaurants and bars. We truly enjoyed our down time with the fantastic views and beautiful water. Divi staff was wonderful and shuttled us from place to place as well as knowledgeable and friendly. It truly is One Happy Island!

Thoroughly enjoyed Divi Dutch Beach Resort. Staff were very friendly, smiled, always asked what more they can do, etc. We had a one-bedroom condo and it huge. Accomodations were excellent and housekeeping staff were really good! Palapa's and chairs were always available and beach was not overcrowded.

I’ve come to Aruba for last 20+ years but first stay at this timeshare resort. I loved it. Spacious rooms with lots of storage. No fighting for lounge chairs at pool or ocean front. Plenty of chairs everywhere. Beach is very narrow and in some places rocky but a short walk will take you to a wide Divi beach for all guests. Very low key and quiet. We had access to several pools, 3 just for Divi Dutch guests but also beautiful pools at Divi Golf and Villas. Not a lot of activities at Dutch but they offer carts to drive you to other Divi properties or to Casino and their restaurants in that area. Ten minute walk to grocery store. Staff very hard working and pleasant. Food prices mush less then another resorts. If you want a low key vacation to enjoy the beach and pools, this is a great choice.

Staff was very accommodating. Food was great and great variety. Pools and beach was great. One complaint Iguanas were aressive when we ate by one of the golf village pool.

The resort was beautiful. Staff was friendly. Accommodating a family of 5 not so much. 2 of my 3 kids became very sick with a GI bug when we got there. It was an absolute nightmare to say the least. We had to cut our trip short by nearly 3 days. We were unable to even enjoy anything on the resort due to our girls being so sick. We made the decision to leave because it was the best option and making sure no one else got sick. Overall, the resort was clean and beautiful. Due to the unforeseen sickness of the kids it was an absolute horrific experience for my family. Lots of tears were shed. This is our seventh or eighth time back to Aruba and the first time for one of our smallest child . They sadly have no desire to ever go back there again just because of what happened. The staff at the Divi Dutch had told me they would do everything they could to reimburse my family for a portion of the trip that was unused. I booked through Expedia. And I had travel protection. Over the last several weeks I have literally been on the phone nonstop with all three places to travel protection Expedia and the Divi Dutch resort. The overwhelming theme for the resort was to just stop answering. Expedia and the travel protection plan I had said that they were not forthcoming and they kept telling them that the “ manager just wasn’t working that day”. I found this to be the most unprofessional behavior we’ve been long time, travelers of the island and truly would love a redo however, this puts such a bad taste in my mouth.

Enjoyed my stay with my husband especially the hospitality. We will continue staying at the Divi for future trips. I would probably recommend more options to eat for people who did not come for non all inclusive. We loved that the beach was walkable.

Perfect stay, no complaints

Was a good stay, but the cart service was very few and far between. Some bartenders at the Tamarijn main bar seemed to ignore my party of 4-women, not sure why, we were quiet, kept to ourselves. Probably will try a different resort next time. Was meh- paid a lot for this trip. Was great to rent from the onsite Hertz- great service!!
