Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort

Friendly staff. Convenient location. Food and drinks were delicious.

We’ve stayed at Divi 4 times now & love it. Clean. On the beach. It’s a community feel. Many things close by so you have easy access to explore the island. The people that work here are so helpful and nice. Love it 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

I enjoyed my stay.. the room was very nice and spacious

Great property, easy to navigate and well connected to the surrounding resorts. Check-in was quick and easy. Our room wasn't ready when we got there at 2:30pm, so we went to change for the pool and by the time we'd changed the room was ready. The three pools were all very well maintained. We never had an issue getting four pool or beach chairs with shade. We had a one bedroom suite which was plenty of room for two adults and two children - there was even a large (6-person) dining area which ended up being one kids sleeping quarters with his inflatable mattress. The kitchen was well appointed - the fridge even had an ice maker. Great water pressure and hot water. The only real complaint I have (and this goes for every Divi property we've stayed in to date) is the bed. The mattress just does not agree with my back and hips. We didn't visit the food and beverage options on-site or at the neighboring Divi resorts. There are plenty of other options within walking distance and also a large grocery story within walking distance or a short drive. We liked the beach right at Dutch Village. It is a but rocky so bring water shoes if you have them. We did venture all the way down to Divi Beach once which is bigger and has less rocks and seaweed, but we preferred the quiet and quick access to the beach right outside our door.

The resort is located at the end of Eagle Beach on the way to Oranjestad and adjacent to Druid Beach. Both the beaches are very quiet and family friendly with shallow water and little surf. The resort is quiet and great for families. It has few activities for adults but there is a free shuttle to other Divi Resorts with more dining choices and live music at night. The studio unit I stayed in was very clean, a great size for one or 2 people. The kitchen was well equipped although a welcome supply of tea and coffee would have been nice. The bed was great as was the other furniture. The bathroom was large and the rain forest shower head was nice. The bathroom could use a paint job.

Clean, lots of pools

We were harassed by the person in the connecting room all week. She constantly yelling at us through the door. I didn’t realize she was actually talking to us til the second to last day and she was leaving the next day. We had a cake for my son’s third birthday party and she called security on us at 9pm on a Thursday night. Had I known earlier in the week she was yelling at us through the door every day I would have said something. I honestly thought she was telling her family to shut up but after the Thursday incident I realized she was talking to us the whole time. My kids were terrified by her aggressiveness. Manager at the resort told us tough luck because she was leaving that day.

As an all inclusive 100% dependent on sister resort to cover food and drink except for 1 "Tikki Bar" open for limited breakfast and lunch. Bar only opened until 7 so no after dinner hanging out atvown hotel.

In 2024, we went to La Cabana and this year were apprehensive about Divi Dutch. Divi Dutch did not disappoint. From clean rooms, great facilities, friendly staff, pristine pools, great front desk, nice beach front, awesome restaurants, we have a great time. I strongly recommend the Divi Dutch to anyone seeking a nice, relaxing vacation. We cooked everyday and grilled by the pool. Lings and Sons Supermarket was half a mile away from Divi Dutch.

Our room was a one bedroom suite on the ground floor with the window opening to the pool. With kids Dutch Village was ideal. Being right next to the pool made it super convenient. We would consider the divi golf beach resort which is closer to the all inclusive restaurant but we liked our pool better and it was also quieter more suitable for the family. Also we could easily call a ride to the restaurants at the front desk which was a favorite for the kids if we are not feeling like the 10 minute paved walk on the beach. The room was very clean. Unfortunately the Island is not built to hold up rain water and if it rains intensely (which is very rare but did happen on our arrival) it causes sewage related issues, it didnt drain well in our bathroom and there was standing dirty water puddles at places. The divi beach is close by and very friendly water for swimming. The water is super clear. The food was great in the all inclusive and made our stay great. Overall we had a wonderful experience with Dutch resort.
