Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort

For the rate we paid it was far below par. The room was small and dingy with the same old (almost crusty) decor from years ago. The shutters don’t close completely so always light in the room and the airco, fridge were extremely loud/noisy.

The hotel was fine, but really didn’t like the amenities. It was like a ghost town no one around and everything was scarce and challenging to get to. not coming back.

The property was beautiful. Beaches and pools were easily accessible, clean, well-maintained, and gorgeous. And the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, answer questions, and accommodate our requests. This was a great way to end our vacation, and we’re looking forward to our next visit.

Overall, it was a good stay. The room was beautiful, updated, and clean. The food on the resort was really good; however, most of the restaurants are not at this particular location, but at the other Divi locations. You can walk to the other locations or you can take a shuttle. The reason why I didn't give it five stars is for a few reasons: 1) the concierge is not available 24 hours. Most days, the concierge was gone by 3pm, and if you wanted to book an excursion or had questions about things to do, you had to do it before 3pm. The staff, when checking in, was not very friendly either. I felt like I din't want to ask any questions because they were not welcoming. Customer service and accessibility are very big for me and that is what decreased my overall score.
