Shorewalk Vacation Villas

I have never stayed at a place that literally has staff walking around bothering you the entire time. If you want to have a good time at the pool, tennis courts or playground……DO NOT STAY HERE! You aren’t even allowed to “play” in the pool. The crazy pool lady walks around asking “for your papers and passes” the entire time you’re trying to enjoy yourself. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

We stayed here a few times years ago when the kids were young so have many happy memories. The cons we stayed in had been refurbished and the complex itself hadn't seen many changes but was well maintained. Good size heated pool and hot tub, tennis courts, shuffleboard and poolroom. Within walking distance to Publix, Applebee's and several other stores, plus a short drive to Bradenton beach.

Renting a condo/apartment was perfect for our group of 2 adults and 1 teenager. Each of us had our own space and we were able to get together in the common areas when we wanted to. Much better than having hotel rooms. The condo was well laid out and everything we needed was available. The location was good and close to all the things we wanted to do.

I have stayed several times in these villas, but this time we missed the beach towels and paper towels that I usually get. Unit is a little bit outdated but clean and comfortable. The TV in the small room had no cable connection so it was useless for us. Everything else was great. Location is a plus, pool and hot tub wonderful.

We arrived after flight from England around 20.00 ( local time), the office was closed, we spoke to the Manager , who at first said “ all arrivals today have been booked in and there is no record of our booking “. I asked her to come to the office which she duly did ten minutes later. She admitted it was a mistake on their part, we were booked in for September,!!, ( because in England we put the month second, after the day and in the states it is month first, anyway it was quickly rectified and we were allocated a nice tidy Condo on the first floor. The condo was clean and spacious and we would recommend Shorewalk I would point out that there is a $140 cleaning charge ( which we were not told about), this was unexpected but was duly paid. We used the pool a couple of times, it was absolutely fine, plenty of beds etc

Location was exactly what we needed. Attended sports events at IMG Academy. Convenient to food stores and restaurants. Unfortunate to be given a unit with basic amenities. and no cleaning supplies.

very outdated ...we rented 7 units and they gave me the bottom of the barrel..they told me I should have rented with them directly
