"Not great - wouldn’t return"

Not great - wouldn’t revisit personally. We have been here two nights so far and if I could get my money back and move on to a new hotel I would. I have no idea how this is 4 star, it’s very old and run down. Our bathroom is tiny and really really worn out and run down. Honestly the worst bathroom I’ve been in after many hotels stays in the gulf area over many years. The draws and wardrobe don’t work, the air con is really loud. Ice machine doesn’t work. Staff are cleaning the room at 5pm which we are not used to as we are back in the room by then. The ocean inflatable is only put up on weekends. It feels like a giant motel, not a grand resort. We picked it becuase of the visuals online and the family orientated vibe of the hotel.. but this is not just slightly geared towards families this is family fun 24/7. Swimming races, quizzes, hula hoop comps, pool bingo etc.. now this might be your vibe and just all in on kids fun. We have children here and we of course love them to have fun but we also like nice things and tasteful properties. In the uk we would call this a bucket and spade vacation. (Holiday). It’s very worn down, it’s in your face family fun time!! And for the price point we have stayed at Don Cesar, Sheraton sand key and sandpearl etc.. if your number one thing is pool side kids entertainment and activities then perhaps this is the place for you, and lots of families appeared to be right at home here, but if you like 4 star resorts and nice rooms and bathrooms and lobby etc, then my advice would be to look elsewhere. We wouldn’t return here personally. F

"Playa Taco The Best!"

Playa Taco is a must, citcaronnes the best. Impressive dining experience, can’t go wrong with their tequila flight and best yet, we had the best friendly, helpful, professional waiter - Trent. Amazing experience resort and dining.

Lunch at Salty's at Island Grand At Tradewinds Resort was delicious. Kids loved it. Parents loved it. Service was exemplary. Morgan remembered everything in our lunch order without writing anything down, which I always applaud.. Lovely, breezy day and beautiful view.
