The Maverick Resort

The hotel was fine except if you are concerned about covid you might not want to stay here. No staff or people staying at the hotel are wearing masks. A few are at best. We did not expect them at the pool or beach but in the building and hallways or the elevators. They should be on your face people! Property was in good shape and was clean. I know the hotel is going to reply to this say they all have mask on but that is not true. In general the entire area was a bit relaxed on masks. Most shops or restaurants did not have masks on. Just keep that in mind. The hotel was good and would stay again but not during covid.

The room was comfortable and clean, kitchenette fully stocked with dishwear. AC had a hard time keeping the humidity down, slept uncovered at night. Pool was lovely and oroximity to beach was great. Pool lounge chairs were not clean though. Elevators did not work part time, had to walk 5 flights. Staff was efficient and friendly and professional. Rooms are not cleaned due to COVID so be aware that you will need to do your own towel exchange and put trash outside the door (which was quickly picked up).

This place is so nice! The rooms have everything you need in them, it was extremely clean (like smelled clean walking in even) and the staff was extremely friendly. It’s also really close to a lot of things. The beach was also clean and taken care of. Will definitely stay here again.

We've stayed at the Maverick several times and love it. The views are amazing and so is the staff. The only reason for 4 stars is that this time we prepaid and was charged again at check-in. After working with 2 supervisors we received a refund 4 days later. Even with this mishap we would still stay again.

The customer service was excellent! Mimi helped me out tremendously with extending my reservation at the last minute. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again and recommended the Maverick to family and friends.

Loved the room and the view. Elevators were a little slow but no other complaints.

Great resort. We loved the private balcony and the condo feel to the room. The staff was wonderful. We will definitely recommend The Maverick Resort.

I have stayed here several times and I am never disappointed. This vacancy came up late and I jumped on it. Location is great! Room had the aroma of cleanliness which is reassuring in these times. Bathroom is always clean. I love that most every room has an oceanfront balcony. The only drawback is the 10:00 check-out, but they let you use the facilities all day. I always try to stay here.

It was such a nice clean place to stay. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I will book again very soon.
