Friendly and helpful front desk receptionist. Breakfast tables was constantly clean when someone leaves. Breakfast items were constantly refilled during operation hours. Located within walking distance to Old Town and Civic Center. Good value.

The hotel is a dump, showers are dirty and here was not working. Staff was bothered, we were checking in late. Place looks like I'm run down apartment building inside.

We had a great stay at the Hyatt House Scottsdale/Old Town. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The included hot breakfast was very good, they offered a lot of variety. When I was ready to relax I found peace and serenity poolside. The property is conveniently located, a very safe walk to everything Old Town has to offer.

Great property. Nice room and overall great experience. It was March so it was very busy and staff was very helpful. The room AC was super cold!

Our stay at Hyatt House Scottsdale/Old Town had several significant issues that impacted our experience. Prior to arrival, we were promised an upgraded multi-bedroom room to accommodate our family of five. We chose to keep our reservation specifically because of this offer. However, upon arrival, we were given a standard room that did not meet our needs, and the situation was initially handled in a dismissive manner with no acknowledgment of the prior commitment. Management later stepped in and provided compensation (comping the first night and discounting the remainder of the stay), which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. For the final two nights of our stay, the air conditioning in our room was not functioning properly. While maintenance temporarily addressed it during the day, it failed again overnight, and there was no after-hours maintenance available. This resulted in two very uncomfortable nights. Additionally, the property itself appears to be in need of significant maintenance. The bathroom fan squeals loudly when the light is turned on, some wall outlets have broken covers, and areas outside the room have crumbling stucco with exposed metal mesh. For a rate of almost $500 per night, the overall condition of the hotel was not in line with expectations. Overall, while there was an effort to make things right financially, the stay was impacted by a lack of follow-through, inconsistent service, and subpar room conditions. We expected a much higher level of quality and reliability.
