The most amazing staff and service. This was our 6th stay with them and always amazing experience!

Vail is a lovely town and the Sonnenalp is the place to stay. Luxurious, clean, centrally located. I give a hard recommendation.

We stayed at the Sonnenalp for our wedding and I could not ask for a better experience. The staff was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our stay went as smooth as possible. Special shoutout to Kasha and her team for making our reception the most magical evening under the stars. The Sonnenalp makes you feel like more than just a hotel guest with their attention to detail. I would recommend going to the breakfast buffet at Ludwigs at least once during your stay! I will definitely be staying here next time I am in Vail.

Overall very nice experience. Ambiance and decor reminiscent of European alpine area. Staff friendly and helpful. Convenient location to walk Vail Village. Had two meals at Swiss Chalet...again, food and decor reminded us of time spent in European alpine regions. Our server Sigi was friendly and helpful with the menu. Looking forward to another Sonnenalp visit.

We had our wedding at the Sonnenalp and we can’t express how incredible the experience was. Kasha and Maggie made the entire planning process enjoyable and as easy as possible. The wedding weekend couldn’t have gone any better and we attribute it to the amazing coordinators and the rest of the staff at the resort. Everyone was so professional and kind. We didn’t have to worry about a thing once we arrived and had the best weekend of our lives. We can’t wait to return for years to come to reminisce on the day.

Truly my best hotel experience ever. Every staff member was ready and willing to assist. Spa manager Donnis saw us on the street as she was leaving and my ailing husband was struggling walking (back to Sonnanalp). Seemed like an instant she had gone back to the hotel and returned with staff and wheelchair to transport him to our room. Just 1 of many superb experiences at Sonnanalp. Breakfast at Ludwigs is unsurpassed.

We’ve been coming to Bail for over 30 years & just started to stay at the Sonnenalp! Our room was absolutely amazing! Huge space & so pretty. We will be back!!! Love the staff & everything about this resort!

Wow! One word for this place, "phenomenal." Everyone, from the front desk, valet, breakfast, house keeping, spa, was amazing. Incredibly kind and helpful. I felt they enjoyed their job and were grateful for you staying. If you are looking for super modern facilities, this is not the spot. If you was old world charm, quality construction, class, and European elegance, this is it. It's also the perfect location in between Vail proper and Lion's head. If you love a good breakfast, this one is exceptional. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff, create an amazing, relaxing experience to start the day. I recommend a room with a fireplace. It has a little sitting area and the flip of the switch you have a nice fire. The breakfast was definitely one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had. There are so many great places to stay in Vail, but can't miss at the Sonnenalp! Nearly every single review we looked at was positive and now we understand why and add to that sentiment. Simply phenomenal!
