The Scottsdale Resort & Spa, Curio Collection by Hilton

Very good resort sited about 10 mins from main Scottsdale albeit not walkable distance. Attractive grounds and dining areas great staff and facilities Bar staff and bar area very nice with lovely patio. area over looking the golf course. Rooms are modern, well equipped. Lack of Ironing board and iron result in four attempts to get one from front desk. Breakfast was plentiful albeit a little chilly to eat outside. Defiantly recommend the resort

Great property. Very good service: Jayme was an excellent host. The staff was great!... Morgan, Elizabeth, Dilaney, and Derrick to name a few, went above and beyond.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful neighborhood. Rooms are large. Open closet so be neat. Jacuzzi only in spa. Large pool and comfortable chaise lounges.

First, the good – this resort is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous and as Hilton diamond members we were upgraded to a Stillman Suite. Frint desk was fantastic. Plenty of parking. The gym was really well appointed in the pool area was lovely. The boardroom was a cool spot and it was fun to just walk around and see the well kept grounds.5/5. Now the disappointing part. Across the resort, we had really disappointing food service experiences. First, at the pool, the servers basically ignored us until we flagged them down. Ordered a Diet Coke and chips and salsa. Took about 40 minutes to get her attention. When she dropped those off, she never checked back with me and I had to again flag her down for the check about two hours later. Never asked if I wanted anything anything else after that first initial drop off. I saw her kind of wandering around, but other guests had to flag her down as well. Honestly, she could’ve sold a lot more if she just checked in once in a while. Next, La Fogata. Went for dinner and sat down to a dirty table. Food was OK – nothing to write home about – but it was a little things like when they brought our entrées they didn’t clear our appetizer and salad plates. Service just didn’t seem very well trained/refined. Next, La Fogata again for breakfast. Breakfast was actually pretty good, but we unfortunately had to sit next to numerous vacant and dirty tables that were not being cleared. So basically stared at other people dirty dishes through the entirety of our breakfast. Just gross. And the restaurant was not busy. Again – this doesn’t seem consistent the rest of this beautiful high-end resort. Would we stay again – absolutely. Would we probably eat off site. Aldine.

I stayed here for a conference. I enjoyed many meals here. The food at the conference was very good. The rooms are nice, I had a patio facing the pool which was nice. It was quiet and I never heard loud noises. The couple of items to improve upon 1) little better housekeeping, once made aware they fixed 2) rug in room needs replaced or removed.

Who goes to hotels expecting great food? I don’t. Yet my wife and I went to “Fogata” restaurant and had expertly prepared empanadas, cucumber salad, creative cheese tamales, and perfectly seared salmon with bouillabaisse style broth. And the Far Niente Napa Cabernet! The chef here pays attention and has an obvious classical training with Latin roots. The chef even came to our table to explain his technique for getting the perfect salmon sear (high heat, grape-seed oil, and an iron pan). And the waiter, Antonio, was a riot. Engaging and friendly. When hotel restaurants deliver like this they should be supported.

All over experience was absolutely wonderful! Jayme the manager of the dining room was amazing! Beautiful resort, my significant other and I had a wonderful time.

They canceled our reservation.. no email.. no call.. nothing. Showed up at check-in to find out they overbooked and simply canceled our reservation. Barely apologetic, offered to put us up in a total crap “sister hotel”. Shocking the hotel didn’t even have the respect to call or email.. nope. Let my family arrive and wait in line to be told there was no room for us. Terrible experience. We ended up staying for a night at the end of our stay when they had room. Hotel is fine. Average food. Average room that’s slightly worn down. Property is ok but nothing write home about.
