We stayed at Bay Harbor last year and were floored with the room, absolutely amazing. Really looked forward to returning this year. I made sure to book the same suite type, Bay Harbor calls it the parlor suite. This years room was a let down compared to last year. Flickering lights in the bathroom, carpet as opposed to tile, smaller, one full bath. We'll make sure to call and ask for the correct room if we return.
Really like the apartment like suite with fully equipped kitchen. Lovely color scheme too, very calming.
Stayed here while my grandfather was in the hospital. Rooms were comfortable and beautiful view. Can’t wait to come back in the summer
When we arrived at our room it was a nice location. The grounds and shops around the hotel seem very nice. However, we were not lucky enough to get one of the remodeled rooms. If they try to offer you room number 201, refuse to accept it. It was smelly (there was actually someone’s old takeout food in the refrigerator that didn’t work). The tile in the very small bathroom was chipped And cracked and outdated, the wallpaper was very moldy and falling off the walls. The towels were very worn and needed to be replaced. The bed, which was actually just a mattress on a bed frame seemed newer, but didn’t fit properly in the room. All other furniture, lamps, etc. needed to be thrown onto a garbage truck. The balcony door lock didn’t work, and the blinds on the windows banged around when the heat blew them around. Very low quality and not room darkening. Did not feel comfortable at all while we were in the room.
I loved the location. Nobody offered to help with luggage or to locate the room with us.
The room was nice but it was not the room I reserved and paid for ahead of time. I paid for a room with a balcony and we only had a room, no balcony. I am not sure if there is a price difference, I think there is, but it was still nice. Small TV, but I wasn’t there to watch a lot of tv.
It is an incredible resort. Very spacious rooms, and full of everything you need. It was our home away from home.
