The Inn on Ferry Street

Great location, friendly and very accommodating employees!

I would put a small table by front door of building where room is located. Presently there is no where to set personal items down while getting door open. I’d put a microwave in the parlor of each building. I’d have a person do a walk around each day to pick up paper, plastic bags and cigarette butts.

We have stayed there before and it's still a wonderful location and beautiful accommodations.

Disappointed that they don't offer the beautiful breakfast they used to offer under previous owners. But we understand COVID changed everything.

Property in transition due to new ownership. Limited staffing results in limited service. Website needs update to reflect current status.

At this point, the Inn on Ferry Street is a poor choice. The buildings are in disrepair; we were unable to adjust the heat; there was no water pressure for a shower. Breakfast consisted of stale croissants. The room was shabby. The linens were clean; the pillows were old and hard.

I was very disappointed in cleanliness, among other things. We saw no employees but housekeeping who my husband spoke to about the weather and the receptionist , when we checked in and out. The best thing was the restaurant BABO is right around the corner. It’s too bad because it could be a real showcase. It definitely was way too expensive for what it is.

My sister and I had a great stay, visiting several places in the Cultural Center and up and down the Q line. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and I was happy there were plenty of places to sit besides on the bed.

I initially found this Inn when my son was a student at Wayne State and I've continued to stay here. Clean, comfortable rooms. Onsite parking included. A quick drive or Qline ride to downtown. Highly recommended!

I stay at the Inn on Ferry Street whenever I visit Wayne State’s law school to attend events. It is convenient and comfortable. The rooms are all unique and range in size and decor. But all I have stayed in have been comfortable for me for solo visits.
