The Inn on Ferry Street

Property is great and you can see how much work was done to bring old soul of houses back . History and appreciation of old homes well this is definitely place to stay.

Well even that room was “ clean” you could see that was not vacuumed and you could see dust on bed boards I even wrote my name on it , same in hallways looks like stuff forgot to vacuumed it, just small things…

Needs a major renovation . Bed is too high for a woman 5’5. Need to climb the steps to reach the bed.

The hotel is very nice. It's several historic houses in Midtown Detroit. The beds are excellent. The pillows aren't. They're hard. What's really bad is the service. They provide cleaning service every other day. And on the days they do come, they only make the bed. They don't clean the bathroom. They don't even refill the soap or toilet paper dispensers. They only offer breakfast on weekends and it's insufficient for the guests. The quality of the coffee is very bad. The staff doesn't seem to care at all about addressing complaints or improving the aspects that are pointed out to them. What a shame, because the hotel is very nice and it's very well located. The hotel is very expensive. They offer a 15% discount if you stay 3 nights or more. They did not accept to apply it in my stay.

The historic charm of old Detroit is very present here. The rooms were adequate and the hotel is within walking distance to the free tram that brings you back and forth to the city center.

Breakfast consisted of pastries, scones and coffee. One of the deciding factors on booking was that breakfast was included and the fact that other reviews had said that the variety of options was adequate. We were a bit disappointed that only pastries were present.

Victorian style hotel with lots of history.

The night receptionist was very rude. I didn't get the room I booked. It was supposed to have a sofa bed, and the room didn't. My friend had to sleep on the floor I was going to be charged an extra $150 to upgrade my room. The breakfast was poor Room was small
