It was very comfortable.

Near the university and downtown area. O’Briens pub is attached to the hotel and is convenient to grab a drink with out leaving the premises. Overall not bad; needs remodeled

Loved the Old-School feel! Key instead of a Card! Great sports bar next door! The lady in charge was super sweet, very professional!

This is an older hotel with old school door locks/dead bolt on the doors. It had an old lingering cigar/smoke smell, not recent, but a lingering smell that you can never get rid of unless you completely remodel. It was a cheap room just to sleep in, and it served its purpose. The staff was nice. The breakfast wasn't much, so we skipped it and ate on the road.

Pleasant staff. Facilities run down and in serious need of improvement. "Free" breakfast very low standard, with nothing fresh, except the milk and orange juice served from super market gallon jugs.

If cost is a primary concern, this is a good option. If you want comfort & amenities, this isn't for you. But the bed was comfy enough, air conditioning worked well, good sized rooms. Not great building security, so use your room's security latch. Neighborhood was fine, seems to have *just* enough free parking. Restaurants nearby.

To start when I was checking in I reserved 3 rooms. When I arrived I was told that Expedia only booked 1. I showed him my confirmation email with 3 rooms that I booked. After about 10 minutes without him saying anything he printed out some papers had me fill out the guest card. I asked could I get a picture of the email showing that Expedia only sent you a reservation for 1 room he told me no don’t worry about it I’ll send them an email about it. Then gave me keys to the 3 rooms I booked. I’m gonna assume he made a mistake didn’t print out it all and tried to blame it on Expedia. First off this hotel is very old and in desperate need of some updating. Then we opened the door to our room.....gross! The smell was like old dirty towels had been sitting in the room for a week. Very bad smell. Old furniture all banged up, comforter and the blanket under were probably from about 1975. Had giant red stains all over them. Burn holes from when it was probably still ok to smoke inside hotel rooms. Looked like blood on the phone and door that connect our room to another room. Just nasty. Definitely not worth what they charge. Opened the window to let some fresh air in but there’s no screen to keep the bugs out. Also no lock on the windows anyone could push them open and take whatever they want. We did a ghost hunt at Ohio State Reformatory so we knew we would only be in the room for a few hours to get a nap before our 3 hour drive home. That is the ONLY reason we stayed in this hotel!!!

We went to the room and put our belongings inside. Came back a few hours later and it smelled so badly of Cig smoke that we couldn't stay there.
