My room was nasty, the telephone did not work so every time I needed something I had to walk downstairs! The morning staff was very rude but everyone else was very pleasant. It was noisy. In the location was not

"Not A Bad Hotel Or Location For A Comfortable Night's Stay."

The location was excellent to the places that we wanted to visit. The rear entrance on Opelousas street made it easier to enter the property without being on the busy MLK Street. Our receptionist upon arrival was warm and friendly, initiating a brief conversation which made me feel welcomed. The receptionist on our way out was "status quo" pleasant, but seemed to be focused more on internal issues. She didn't convey the same energy, warmth, and care.

We had issues with our key cards. Upon first entering our room the cards were slow to work, the lock also seemed slow to respond with the indicator light. Sunday morning we left to get breakfast, and as we returned, the keys didn't work at all. So we went to the lobby for replacements and those keys didn't work. Thankfully there was a staff member in the hall and he used his key to let us in. At our checkout we told the receptionist of our troubles and she apologized for the inconvenience.
