Somerset on the Pier Hobart

Parking was terrible. They only have about 10 parks for 56 units so it’s pot luck if you get one. If you don’t get a park you have to pay $6 per hour

We had a great stay here. The accommodation was reasonably priced, clean and in a great location, close to shops, dining and Salamenca Markets. Great service upon check-in. Would absolutely stay here again.

The staff were helpful. The room is nice and clean, especially for the view. There are many restaurant nearby, so don't worry about your meal.

Lovely comfortable bed, only issue is there was cigarette smoke coming in our balcony/room from outside or other room outside, there was black hair in bath, dirty dishes in cupboards.but thankyou.

The staff were very good for all questions check-in etc. Room was large so it made stray really comfortable. Very good location. Bed and shower both great. The only issue we had was that the walls, connecting door and door to outside must be paper thin because we could hear people on both side talking clearing their throat just about every noise. The AC was so loud it was like we had a steam train in the room Luckily we didn't spend much time in then room and it ran infrequently or it would have been unbearable. Could not recommend because of noise issues.

Staff were lovely and location was great, however I wouldnt stay here again. Parking is limited and if you can get a space, a few minutes walk away in a busy area. In our room we could hear noise from the hallway outside, people talking in the room next door, and traffic at the end of the pier. The water pressure in the shower was weak, and the temperature was touchy and kept fluctuating. Complementary local apples was a nice touch but ours were bruised. Ironing board was lumpy and rickety. Easy check in and check out.

I have stayed here numerous times as it's so conveniently located.

Facilities are obsolete and tired. Rooms need renovating. Very noisy at night. Parking is a big problem in this area. Staff were very accomoding. We probably won't be staying here again.
