"If I were attending an event downtown, I would stay here again."

I really liked how they maintained some of the old charm of the hotel. I thought they did a good job with the renovations while still keeping the original feel of the hotel.

I didn't like the area. My husband warned me that it wasn't in a great part of town. While I felt safe in the hotel, I didn't feel 100% comfortable going out in the evening. Also, for some bizarre reason they couldn't use my credit card for the security deposit, so I had to use their ATM to get cash, which cost me about $7 in bank fees.

Good hotel for overnight stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was nice. Price was good.

Neighborhood is not very nice. Too many homeless and derelict on the street.

"Relaxing, fun, the best location."

Great location for shopping! It's within walking distance of several restaurants, pubs and lots of neat little stores. Lots of options within one block! Good wifi, reasonable number of power outlets.

The hotel parking lot feels very snug if there are trucks and vans there. If you drive somewhere on a Saturday night, a bar-goer will likely take your spot while you're out.
