The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort

Just got back from out 10 day staysat the royal sea aquarium resort. In terms of location could not be better it’s a 2 min walk to mambo Beach and the shopping area.My daughter and I scuba dive and the dive center is just across the water way.the room we stayed in was had everything we needed beautiful view of the ocean and very quiet. A big thanks to aleqsandra and the entire staff keep up the great work

Beautiful location with an amazing private beach and swimming pool. Alexandra was so helpful and took care of everything we needed - really appreciated that. The room was not super fancy but was updated and very comfortable and clean. The attached restaurant isn’t part of this resort and is in a great location but the food was at best mediocre - pizza oven was broken and the bakery items had to ordered a day in advance. Since this resort is very close to other food places it wasn’t an issue to find other restaurants. If you want to get away from the crowds in this area this is the place to stay - we will stay here the next time 😊

It was our 5th time staying here, that in it's self speaks volumes. We first discovered the Sea Aquarium Resort 4 years ago on a whim. We were so impressed by the excellent staff, walking distance to many restaurants at Mambo beach and the peace and serenity at their private beach. The one bedroom suites with a full kitchen allow you to cook if you want. We consider this our home away from home

Great location to many restaurants within walking distance and nice beach heated pool and hot tub great Restaurant on premise as well Plus new convenience store and small restaurant across street. You can eat at the many restaurants short walk on MAmbo beach.

We stayed in unit E112 with my partner and our kid, and we absolutely loved it! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful especially Alejandra, who is so sweet and always has the best recommendations. The beach feels very exclusive, calm, and beautiful, and the pool bar has amazing drinks at great prices compared to other places in the area. You must try their frozen cappuccino and piña colada both are delicious! There’s also a little store by the front desk where you can find instant noodles, water, chocolate, and freshly brewed hot Colombian coffee. They even sell tasty empanadas, and the best part is you can charge everything to your room for convenience. The resort offers free transportation to downtown, the supermarket, and even Jan Thiel Beach, which was a big plus. They also gave us a golf cart ride to the Mambo entrance, which made everything so easy and comfortable. Overall, it was an amazing experience great value, wonderful staff, and perfect amenities. We can’t wait to come back!

Had to leave the un air-conditioned and rundown Sunscape after day one and found the Royal resort thankfully. The 1 bedroom with kitchen was spacious and clean. Resort has a good restaurant and shuttles to grocery store and downtown willemstad. Pool area is quiet and right on the ocean. I was very happy I was able to book this resort on short notice.

Nice amenities— hot tub, wonderful pool, lots of wildlife — birds, iguanas, beautiful plants. It is located on a private beach with ample shaded loungers (and a number in the sun). Staff go Above and Beyond. I did suffer some dust allergies in the room, but that’s to be expected. It’s an older property, but wonderfully maintained. I felt very safe as a solo traveler. I’ll stay again.

Did not use the hot tub. Room temperature was good.
