Beautiful place and Roberto is fantastic with poolside service

Our stay at Pueblo Bonito was incredible! We attended for a friend’s wedding and the whole weekend was a delight. Everyone on staff was super friendly and helpful, and the grounds were well kept and beautiful. Nallely at the front desk was especially kind when we checked in and was able to land us an upgraded room for the weekend! Overall an incredible trip and we will be back!

This was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Angel at the main pool was hands down one of the of the best servers I’ve ever had, and I’m from Texas. We don’t want to sit in a section that angel is not in! Ever! When we come back next year, we want Angel the whole time. Very kind, with an incredible memory . He remember us from two days prior and that alone says everything you need to know about how amazing he truly is. Much love Angel! You are the best of the best !

We recently stayed at Sunset Beach Hotel with five family members spread across three rooms. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would consider returning but our preference would be to try a different hotel. The property itself is beautiful. One of our favorite aspects was how the hotel is built into the cliffside. The layout takes full advantage of the setting, and the views are stunning. The beach was absolutely amazing. While you can’t swim because of the surf conditions, it was incredibly life-giving to walk along the shore, watch the waves, and enjoy the natural beauty. A special thank you to Elias (#14), who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. I encountered an issue with my room, and Elias stayed with me the entire time until it was resolved. He even worked beyond his scheduled hours to make sure everything was taken care of. Whenever we needed assistance, he was easy to reach, responsive, and genuinely helpful. His professionalism and care made our trip much more relaxing and enjoyable. The food was generally good. We enjoyed several restaurants on the property, though a few were not great. The biggest challenge was the check-in process. Before arriving, we emailed multiple times requesting that our family's rooms be located close together. Upon arrival, one representative was not particularly helpful in addressing this request. Eventually, another staff member tried to accommodate us, which we appreciated. However, when I reached my room, the "beach view" I had booked was more limited than expected, and the room had an unpleasant smell. When I returned to discuss the issue, I was told the hotel was completely full—even though we had checked in relatively early—and that the only option was to pay for an upgraded room. While they offered a small discount on the upgrade, the situation was very frustrating. Despite the rocky start, the beautiful location, beach, and especially the outstanding service from Elias made for a memorable stay. I might stay here again, though I would go in with slightly more tempered expectations.

Property is beautiful no issues with the accommodations. They all have their issue that doesn’t bother me its Mexico. We’ve been coming to Cabo since the early 90’s so we know our way around. Pools are over packed with people very hard to get chairs or bar service. All inclusive isn’t a deal when you cant get service. Still not the worst. They have a ton of events there was like 4-5 weddings/gatherings of some sort going on and they close the pools down 1-2pm. Which already was an issue trying to find a spot. The hotel was maybe at 1/3 occupancy and it was a disaster. The worst of all was the golf carts you have to take them everywhere, doesn’t sound to bad at first but it’s horrible. They say you will usually have 3-8 minute waits. Lol yeah not even close. Expect 20-30 minutes or so and i understand there might be like a rush hour but no that was almost all the time. And to top it off there’s phones all over to call and get a cart to pick you up and they wont pick up. Of they do you either go on hold or they hang up on you. One day i spent 15 minutes just calling and hoping they would pick up and then waited 20 more for the cart. Who wants to go on vacation and spend a large portion of your very limited time waiting for golf carts. Horrible way to stay. I will say the staff was very nice and the place is super clean. Massages were very nice so my wife and her friends said, so thats a plus. Good luck this place wasn’t for us.

What a perfect place for a wedding! Beautiful hotel, excellent hotel staff and the food was excellent! Wedding coordinator Fernando was perfection and Elisa was excellent on wedding day with all the vendors top tier :) And the flowers were gorgeous, highly recommend this team

Service and views

Might be nice if they stop pushing too hard to invite us to “meetings” or “lunches” for offers and sales, but everyone was nice just needed to say no firmly multiple times everyday
