Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort by Resort Collection

Rude people working for Edgewater Resorts. No towels, no trash bags, lamps and lighting not working, hot rooms. Nobody cared about our concerns. It was close to the beach.

Pictures online had a view to the beach. Most places on this resort its accross the street and no view to beach. They should at least let customers know. I had trouble with my A/C on first day. If I knew I would have choose a different place to stay.

The most hectic was the check in that could have been at 4.. the first time we got there we were given visitor passes not room passes, arm bands but no room number, keys etc... the second time we again fought the parking lot and waited in line she said the room was awaiting inspection, told us the building but not the room and we assumed we would use a digital key since she didn’t give us any... the third time we did the dance, after waiting outside the building where nobody ever inspected it, we went back for keys, and real parking passes after a long hold and phone call I made to find this out. It was after 7 when we finally got in the room. Couple notes the couch needs sprayed; I think it’s sand flees that bit my daughter all up, we had to go buy roach spray for the kitchen & the floors were filthy throughout. Also, when we called to find out about where to put the trash, because everything refers to “trash shoots” that they must have at the main hotel buildings, none of the employees knew - we figured it out. (Every time we encountered a communication issue there was no empathy, nor sense of urgency on our behalf.) We liked the unit but I would also suggest extra pillow cases for the extra pillows and labeling the many light switches.

Not good. Reception personal not Nice or trying to feel better. I had discrepancies with my reservation Hotels .com. Need to be a good Costumer service at phone

Really nice room. We had 2 balconies. Our room was located on the golf course so the pool was nice but not like the picture they show. You can be shuttled across the street too the main pool area and beach for free though. Dryer will get clothes dry if you pull it out, the hose gets crimped of the dryer is pushed all the way back. There was people smoking weed on the bottom floor, while we were out on the balcony it drifted up too us but after yelling the smoke stopped. Overall good stay.

Facilities was nice

The picture was show those wasn’t the view i booked the room because of the beach view i pay all that money because of the view but when i got there they said thats not the room its a False pictures they should let that know at the beginning I’m not booking any more from hotel.com

This are is a great place to stay and go to the beach. We had a gold side villa and i like it alot. The villa was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

When I got here there were more fees then it explained on the website. Then after getting in the room it was an very bad odor in the kitchen sink & beds were flying around. The WiFi in the room didn’t work nor did the tv in the living room I called the front desk several times about it no one came to fix it. Some things in the rooms & bathroom need to be fixed like the towel rake on the wall in the bathroom one side his fallen off the wall. The door in the master bedroom needs to be fixed.

The property was clean and maintained for the most part. Pool, beach access, and food was good onsite, and most staff was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with room internet access, and the front office was advised when we arrived, and multiple times after; as of our checkout, this issue had not been fixed so we did not have any internet access during our entire stay, and cell service was not usable inside the Condo. Communication from the front desk was not great at all regarding our issues, which made our stay slightly difficult to fully enjoy.
