Barnham Broom Hotel, Golf & Spa

We took advantage of the Lazy Sunday deal over the May bank holiday. It was £250, which included a 3 course dinner, breakfast (including continental and something cooked from the kitchen), a complimentary room upgrade and 2 x passes for the leisure facilities. The location of Barnham Broom is great, close enough to the city if you wish to venture that way and there are lots of lovely walks close by too. All of the food was delicious and presented to a high standard. I especially liked the granola station at breakfast, never seen that before and thought it was a great idea! We had a lovely stroll round the golf course after dinner as well and watched the sunset, it was bliss. The gym had a good set of amenities and the pool was a decent size too. Customer service both during and after our stay has also been top notch. We only live a few miles up the road, but we will return for another staycation in the future. Thanks for having us.

Stayed for 1 night room adequate, bathroom could do with deep clean staff helpful, food was exceptionally good beef excellent, relaxing atmosphere in dining area, breakfast also good.

The room it self was very nice. With a good bathroom.

The air conditioning was broken unfortunately it had been a very warm day and the room temperature was a hot 30c. Reception staff were very helpful and provided us with a fan this did help but the room was still very warm and uncomfortable.

Staff very good. Rooms comfortable and clean. Nice bar and terrace area.

Sad that use of spa was an extra charge.

Unfortunately the air conditioning had failed on the first floor for our stay which on the hotest weekend of the year made our 3 suites booked somewhat redundant as we were unable to use the facilities of the upgraded room. However, this situation was totally out of the hotel's control and the front of house staff tried their level best to help out, finding fans for our rooms and could not have been more helpful. The food and service throughout our stay was first class, although, we believe, the hotel is considerably understaffed but throughout our visit they had a smile and provided great service. Having stayed at Barnham Broom on many previous occasions, we feel the management need to look at service staff numbers, management of bar service increasing the speed of service to players post golf rounds. Please note that the courses were both in immaculate condition and we shall definitely look forward to a return visit.

Welcoming helpful staff. Decent-sized room (junior suite). Good food. Easy check-in, check-out process.
