Hotel LIVVO Volcán Lanzarote

This was our sixth year at this hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast which was constantly replenished but no poached eggs this year! The rooms are all the same and are large with a seating area. A good innovation are the water fountains for guests use including sparkling water. Fridge in room was useful. Good tv channel offering including BBC1 and 2 and ITV. We love the architecture of this hotel with its mock church entrance, reception with waterfall and village appearance. And it’s location opposite Marina Rubicon, definitely the best area in Playa Blanca.

Quality of buffet in evening was less than previous years but still excellent choice. We always go for the salads and freshly-cooked hot food. Made the mistake of booking a side sea view facing West. The balcony was covered which is not good in February as you need the sun for warmth. To get that you need to book a full seaview which has mainly open balconies and is south facing. The pools are fantastic and you can find sheltered spots throughout as this is a windy island.

Lovely Hotel, beautiful room overlooking the sea and pool. I was in the Adults section. Breakfast was good, with a menu so lots of choice. Afternoon tea was presented on a cake stand with sandwiches ,scones and cakes. Unexpected bonus! Hotel is like a little village with interesting features and paths very pretty. Larger pools in the main areas, heated. I didn't use the main restaurant. Easy walk to the Marina with its shops and restaurants, and promenade for longer walks.

Breakfast was very exceptional and wonderful. Layout of bedroom was great but very dated. Lovely outside shady bed hut places to lay down in through the day.

Sadly the bed was like sleeping on concrete and desperately needed a comforter. Tried the buffet restaurant once but didn't like it but there are loads of lovely places to eat out in the area.

hFrühstück war reichlich und gut organisiert. Fast 100%perfekr. Wie in vielen auch echten *****Hotel ist nur das Angebot an frischem Obst eher enttäuschend. Aber vielleicht lässt sich da noch etwas optimieren. Sonst ist das Personal auch beim Wegräumen und Nachfüllen der speziell guten BuffetSpezialitäten immer o.k. 11 von 12 Punkten

Man kann auf die Wohnungsebene, wo zB App. 100m+ sind, nicht mit dem Aufzug fahren . Das ist u U für Senioren - und die werden immer mehr - sehr unangenehm, auch wenn es nur wenige Stufen sind.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Tolle Lage in der Nähe des Hafen und an der Uferpromenade. Komfortable und saubere Zimmer. Leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Ausreichend Parkplätze.
