Carambola Beach Resort St. Croix, US Virgin Islands

I am Robert Sabree. The waitress name Ms. Denisa (Nish) was very considerate and answered all the numerous questions I had regarding food and drink selections. She is very soft spoken, kind, articulate and knowledgeable. She made my wife feel at home. At that moment, my wife declared we will return next year with our extended family. I'm a business owner, she is the kind of employee I search for. I wish I could entice her to come work for my company customer

Carambola Beach Resort, St. Croix Is so beautiful, the staff,especially Elsa who works the front desk, went out of her way to help us. She did far more than I believe anyone else would do ANYWHERE!!.Everyone there made us feel wanted,safe, and so appreciated. The entire island was the same. From the taxi drivers to the shop clerks. The resort is off by itself, private with a private beach. We had 2 large tvs in our room. Which we never turned on. I wish that some of the guests that smoke would not have left cigarette butts on the beach and grounds. Drinks were well made. The food was fairly good. The regular chef was not there due to a family emergency and considering the fact it is an island. No complaints there. The breakfast was always good and as much as you wanted. The omelet chef was my favorite. He makes great omelets. Be sure to try them. I do recommend renting a car from the airport and returning it there when you leave, taxis get expensive. You do have to drive on the left side of the road. Which is not as hard as I thought it would be. Be sure to stay at Carambola Beach Resort. You will not be sorry. We will stay there again.

We went there to dive from a different resort. We were immediately greeted by Wade with a smile and a golf cart to get all of our gear down to the dive shop. He quickly let us know that he would take care of us and we didn't need to do a thing. It was a wonderful greeting and a fine place to dive. Wade your kindness make the week!

We had a fantastic time! Beautiful beach, pool and grounds. Denisha at Flamboyant was our favorite employee - she was welcoming, attentive and always smiling. Really wish there was a rotating shuttle service to Cane Bay or Christiansted to see more of the Island.

Access to the beachfront, space in rooms and friendly staff.

Location is very remote, they're no stores close by and cabs/transport is expensive.

We came here to check on the potentials for scuba diving and to view the scenery. This is a gorgeous place in an excellent location to get away from it all and have a luxurious visit. Large resort with all amenities available, full bar, full service restaurant and plenty of beach front. Yes they also do have a scuba shop.

From the outside looking in this place has a lot of potential. It could be beautiful. From the moment we checked in we were disappointed. This place is dead and our room was not ready. I went to get a drink while waiting for our room and a mixed drink costs $16. I expect to pay more on vacation but this place took inflation to the next level. The beach was mediocre. I was hoping for crystal blue water but what we got was a lot of big rocks. Nobody uses this beach. We actually drove around the island to find nicer beaches. We recommend rainbow beach and cane bay beach. Highly recommend a tour to bucks island!!! Our room was nice but the tv never worked. When we called about it they said they are waiting for a part. It didn’t work our entire stay. Our room was kind of cleaned only one day. Their idea of clean is to empty the trash. One day we were going to the room around 2 and the housekeeping lady was too lazy to walk up the steps to our unit and told me to bring down any trash while she scrolled through her phone. The breakfast is suppose to start at 7. We had a tour scheduled for 8 so it left just enough time to eat and go…. However they didn’t open until 7:15.. the staff seems almost annoyed that they have guests to serve. The pool is nice however I recommend you Bring your own towels because they never have any. If you are looking for crystal blue water and great service do not stay here.
