Hilton Vacation Club Bent Creek Golf Village Gatlinburg

Quiet location in the country, near the mountains. Two pools onsite, one indoor, one outdoor. Room was spacious with excellent kitchen facilities. 15 minute drive from Gatlinburg and a Food City grocery store.

The property was in great condition I had a great time, the golf course is one of my favorites and I enjoy playing here once a year.

I’m surprised there is no restaurants or breakfast bars onsite.

When we checked in, we had a room that was outdated and dark. I asked for an upgrade, and was given the number for Booking.com. The facility doesn’t handle any of their own bookings. After an hour on the phone, we were moved to a MUCH nicer room. The front desk offered to help us move our stuff and was generally helpful.

Make sure you look at the room you book carefully. The “standard” rooms are quite outdated. The next room type up is much better for not much more money.

Concierge service was very pushy even after politely telling them I was not interested in tickets or info to local attractions. Had to finally just walk away when they wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Staff were rude and unhelpful. Ended up canceling our stay.

Horrible Experience at Hilton Bent Creek Resort - Avoid at All Costs! I rarely leave reviews, but after the nightmare we experienced at Hilton Bent Creek Resort, I feel compelled to share. We originally booked a hotel in Washington DC for September 2024, but had to cancel and rebook at Bent Creek in Gatlinburg, TN, due to space limitations for our family of 5. We had a 1-bedroom suite booked, as we’ve done many times before, with our two small children and baby sleeping on the couch and in a pack-n-play. The rebooking agent was aware of this and knew our reason for canceling DC, so we felt confident everything would go smoothly. However, when we arrived at the resort after a 5-hour drive, we were told at check-in that they couldn’t accommodate us. The staff rudely informed me that my family of 5 was too large for the room, which supposedly violated fire code laws. They offered no empathy for the situation—no acknowledgment of the fact that we had driven hours to get there and now had nowhere to stay. To make matters worse, the manager suggested splitting up my family into two rooms across the resort, and when I asked if they would want to be separated from their family during vacation, the response was indifferent. The only other option they gave us was an apartment-style room across town for just one night, with no clear plan for the following days. As a Hilton owner, I was appalled by how unhelpful and rude the staff were. The marketing team onsite made an attempt to help, but it was a poor effort that didn’t begin to make things right. Thankfully, we were able to find another resort that welcomed our family with open arms, providing a 1-bedroom suite without hesitation and even offering a pack-n-play for the baby. If you're considering Hilton ownership, this is your sign to run the other way. The customer service here is abysmal. If you're still interested in becoming a Hilton owner, I’d be happy to sell you my package. Save yourself the hassle, and look elsewhere for your vacation stays.

Very clean and nice location. Concierge doubles as pusher for timeshare enrollment which is a bit of a downer.
