The Crow Peak Lodge

The pictures are deceptive. Upon arrival the place looks old and unkept. Owner should not rent this facility if indeed renovations are actually taking place. The place was torn up all over. It appears to be a dump and my heart fell when I saw it. It appeared there was maybe a total of four guests. Room actually was almost pretty good except sink was very very slow in draining. Also had to get up at midnight to jiggle the loose toilet handle, then remove the top to get it to stop running. The manager arrived only moments before we went in for breakfast at 8:00. The breakfast was minimal at best. There was no hot water but the manager did offer to heat some up in the microwave for us. I will never stay at this facility again but do not plan on traveling this way anyway again.

Property is under new management and several policies are changing. The Hotels.com information is not correct. They do not allow pets at all. They are open until 10pm, not 8pm. They have a system for late checking. There is a light breakfast. The property is in pretty good shape and is being updated.

Did not like the parking‐only heat source was air conditioning and RAN LOUDLY ALL NIGHT!

Staff was very nice, and they left me alone which was appreciated.

Convenient property. There was an unflushed bowel movement in the toilet and a ½ used tube of shampoo in the shower. It was not advertised as a kitchenette but the refrigerator was dirty, had mildew and did not work.

It's an old building. It's clean. But, the staff seemed put out. We had to call at 6pm to get staff to check-in. I got the feeling that it was a family member checking us in. And he wasn't happy to do it. If I didn't talk to him. He definitely wasn't going to talk at all to me. Checking out at 8 am same issue. We just turned in our keys. Wrote what room number we were in. Sat it on the desk with the others who had done the same thing earlier

no closet? split bathroom? no java or cups (they gave me some when I asked)

Large room. Safety latch broken. Desk not manned so took a while to check n.

Our stay was ok. The motel sits in a somewhat run down residential neighborhood. The room itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. The man at the front desk was great. He works there 24/7 and lives on the premises. For an older property he keeps it runnung and looking well kept. Perfectly fine for an overnight stop!

Beadbolt was broken/missing, ice machine and laundry facilities broken ( staff did bring me a bucket of ice) tub plug didn't work.
