Clean and comfortable

The rooms seem to be pre-fabricated. The workers are nice but very unorganized.

It was a bed. Sleeping area was remodeled, bathroom area was not. A/C barely worked and was somewhat noisy. I went to check in the first time and no one was at the counter; used the phone provided to reach someone and it just rang and rang. I heard someone playing with a plastic bag out of view and I said "Hello" multiple times, but there was no reply even though someone was obviously there. When I was finally able to check-in, that gal was nice.

The staff were not clean, or professional. The photos of the hotel on the Hotels.com website are not accurate on what you see in person. We didn't shower, as the towels smelled musky, and seems like they were rolled up wet. The room smelled unclean, and like they attempted to mask it with a heavy doze of spray. The paint was chipping everywhere, the sink didn't work, the sink knob fell off the outside railings left splinters and we're falling apart, leaving screws exposed. I don't think I need to keep going.

Very close to Mount Rushmore and on the way to I-90

The only staff was the clerk her husband and teenage son. She complained the entire time checking in. The door to the room was so hard to open it took 10 minutes each time we went in or out. We almost got locked in! There was usually no staff in office, and no answer on numbers left. The room needed to be vacuumed, and both beds looked like someone had been laying in them. At 8;00 pm the manager begins bbqing, about 10 feet from our air cond unit so we spent the evening breathing in smoke! We packed and left after only 1 night, I tried to check out and cancel the 2nd night but no one was in the office, and no one answered either number. I want a refund for the 2nd night but I am still unable to contact ANYONE!

The lady at checkin was overwhelmed, seemed to have no help on the property for room changes and had to face unhappy customers , us. The room's air conditioner was not working, it was 92 outside and also the room wasn't ready when we checked in at nearly 6. We were offered the room next door to use which had a working air conditioner but no hot water and the toilet couldn't be used! My husband was running in the Michelson Trail marathon and consequently had a most unsatisfactory night! The lady said she was only supposed to fill in for one week managing the complex but had been there for 5 weeks. Orbitz should take this property off their list! The owners should be more accountable and put some money into maintenance!

The room we checked into was not cleaned so they moved us to another room. The king bed had queen sheets on it. They were very short staffed and had a 'friend' helping out. I do like the location so close to downtown but that in itself would not make me go back.

Staff was very pleasant. Great location for walking to the unique and neat downtown.

There were crumbs in the pull-out bed, blood on mattress pad, cable TV wouldn’t connect and cold water. The people who are filling in tried their best but are overworked and need help.
