The Crow Peak Lodge

No ice on site. No coffee maker in room. Tiny towels. Room was clean but starting to look tired.

It was a very old motel with different drive up structures, which is nice but it has been fixed on alot over the years in a very cheap way. The floors have lumps in them covered up by laying carpet over them. The paint jobs & caulking jobs have been very sloppily done. The mattresses were old & hard. The furniture was also very old. The people that own & run it need to clean up their appearances & attitudes; they don't seem to know how to run a business properly.

Mold in shower. Carpet was torn away from wall.

Property is currently being remodeled. It reminds me of a small apartment complex. Location is in a single family area.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, it was quiet. A good night sleep. We will stay again. Nothing fancy It simply serves the purpose of a good place for a good night sleep. Spearfish is a nice community, it’s beautiful.

Nice location, Kinda noisy with footsteps above, took a bath in the morning, ran out of hot water, parking was tight, glad we didn't have our dually truck.

Staff was friendly, rooms were nice, and looked to be remodeled recently. They were remodeling the lobby so no continental breakfast at this time

The room was nice for an overnight stay in Spearfish, SD. Allowed pets and reasonably priced for retirees. Within walking distance of restaurants and bars. Due to Covid the registration was non-contact with a lockbox and combination which held the room keys, map to room and registration form. Instructions by manager were easy to follow. Would stay again.

The lobby was closed the entire time. Although other hotels lobbies were open. Check in was not a good experience. The rooms were clean. The place appeared a little neglected but for the price was not bad. Not a bad place to stay for the price.

The first thing is the way we were registered. A text message with really no explaination that there is no one around to help or give assistance. We had to figure it out and even helped other people get their keys etc. we had to request towels no house keeping and this was not explained prior to registration. Our room was clean on entrance but nothing else.
