Holiday Inn Colorado Springs - Airport by IHG

Honestly enjoyed the location of this establishment quite a bit as I was traveling back and forth to family’s house for business. Booked 2 rooms over a 3 or so day stay, was happy when there was a restaurant on site & hot tub to soak in after a long day. I was hoping to unwind for my final night, Sunday day light savings if it matters when I see the restaurant doors closed, I asked management close by if I could stop in for a drink, where he stated they had closed early. I usually understand however it was only 8:30 pm however they have posted 10pm close. I was hoping for a night cap, not the worst thing to happen but wished I could have had the option….

It was clean and all the staff were super nice and accommodating.

When I asked for directions on the app it took me to the wrong hotel the correct one was across the street

Great place but good luck trying to get someone on the phone to ask questions before check-in. Wonderful desk clerk and restaurant personnel. Cleaning staff knocked on my door at 9 AM even though I had the Do Not Disturb sign out. Then she didn't know English so I had to use rusty Spanish!

First off, when checking in they put us into the wrong room. Only found out hours later after calling down to have help with tv and the staff member told us we were I. Wrong room. That being said there was Only 1 friendly staff member and he left at 11pm. After that we had some guy who could not give 2 shits about being there. Needed more towels, he treated it like a chore and was annoyed he had to get off his cell phone to grab some extra ones, On check out as I approached “what” is the first words to come from him, as i explained I was there to just check out, with out looking up from computer just pointed at some box that was labeled key drop off. There was No confirmation or anything leaving

This property stated there was a restaurant and bar inside. What was not mentioned was that the restaurant/bar is only open for a very short time early in the morning and then opens back up around 4pm until supposedly 9pm or 10pm but on several occasions they were closed by 8pm for some reason. Also every time I took a shower the smoke alarm in our room went off. The lock for our bathroom door in our room didn’t work and when we first got there our shower had dirty footprints in it.

Very clean room and friendly staff!
