InTown Suites Extended Stay Murfreesboro TN - MTSU

The room smelled horrible and there were no pots and pans as promised on the website. There was only someone at the front desk during the week and they don't replenish any of your towels or supplies so we bought cleaning products and had to pay to do our daily laundry with towels. We also had to stock our own toilet paper. The room was nothing like it appeared on the website. Everything was shoddy and old. Our pet was not allowed either although the website said they were welcome. There was a mandatory cleaning day once a week and that was it. This was the worst hotel extended stay we have ever stayed in. I do not recommend it to anyone.

Arrived late at night around 3:00am and there were teenagers roaming the parking lot up to no good. Saw curtains falling down out of the windows, hallway stunk, didn't really have a lobby to speak of. Had a "rental agreement" to sign. Voice in my head just kept saying "Run! And don't look back!" So we did and found another place to stay........

Smelled bad before even walking in from the parking lot. Everything was dirty. Lobby, elevator, room. In the room the floors were filthy, had an awful smell. Bed had stains and pubic hairs all in the bathroom. We walked in looked around and left. Expedia did refund our money so thank you to them.

Pros: Great location. Close to great restaurants. Across the street from the mall. Pleasant staff. Cons: Everything else. Requested non-smoking room; room reeked of smoke. The first room had a big hole in the wall and water in the sink that ran constantly. Asked for another room and was given a room that had a loveseat that was so visibly filthy that I wouldn't even let my dog (if I had one) sit on it. The carpet was filthy as well, and there was also a chest of drawers that looked as if an animal had been chewing or scratching on the corners. I would expect much more for an extended stay facility. Needless to say, we checked out the next day, only stayed that night due to the lateness of our arrival. We were scheduled for four nights. Again, run,do not walk, away....fast!!!!

Floors thin, better stay on top floor or you hear every step of person upstairs . Not the best clientele staying there. Blue collars workers hanging out in parking lot

I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN EVEN IF IT WAS FREE!!! I cannot state strongly enough the deplorable conditions of this hotel. First and foremost, the air conditioner leaked BADLY...as in two drops per second hitting the carpet very loudly. The floor was soaked four feet out from the unit. Obviously they were aware and had tried to cover up the scent with hidden air fresheners. The furniture was filthy. We wouldn't even sit on it if we weren't using the bath mat as a lining between us and the couch. The beds only had a sheet plus one other "comforter" that was barely thicker than a sheet. We froze since we had to leave the air conditioner high enough so that it didn't shut off and keep us awake with the dripping. The "kitchen" microwave didn't work at ALL and the freezer didn't work AT ALL. Not even a little. The lining of the bathroom sink had worn almost completely off and was flaking. I'm not a hotel snob--I'll stay about anywhere if it's just for one night. But THIS was the worst I have ever seen. The hotel looks great from the outside (brick)...so admire it from the street. DON'T GO IN!!

Horrible!! The first room smelled of pet urine. Food and liquor was left in the refriderator by someone. Old worn out smelly carpet. Room was changed to a different one, had to share it with a very large spider that I couldnt catch to kill it. I would not advise anyone to stay at this hotel. It is obviously private owned and not part of a corporate chain.

I booked this hotel stay on Expedia special rates site and the hotel was not to my tastes. I have since decided not to use Expedia.com.

Card keys failed twice and ants by window seal. Attendant was prompt in getting me in and relatively quiet but smoking down hallway could be smelled very easily. Just needed a place to sleep for work so it served it's purpose.

I'm a sports official so I was doing a softball tournament in Murfreesboro and as usual the games ran longer than usual. I got to the hotel around 11:30 pm and front office was closed. I had to find attendant on premesis to get hotel key and log in to facility. The key that was given to me did not open my second floor room so I had to go back down to find attendent and by the time I got everything situated it was after 12 and I had to be up at 7:00. Needless to say I was not happy with service buy room was nice and spaceious and I slept well, not sure if it was room or I was just really tired.
