Excellent property and a wonderful stay at the hotel. The service is awesome and right from the moment of arrival everything was catered to. Help offered during checkin and checkout by staff especially Tenzin was worth mentioning food was also good with Excellent spread of Buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner. housekeeping was also spotless
This hotel was used as a base for our tour of India, so we stayed there 3 times for a total of 4 days over 2 weeks. Our first room smelt musty and damp. The stag had placed a fan and extractor outside to mask the smell (they failed in that effort). The shower curtain in the room was still damp as if it had been left up from the previous occupant, the bath tub had a dirty ring mark in it, my bath towel was stained, the fixtures on the toilet seat were visible and not at all clean. The room cleaning staff were all in the corridor, so I was able to get them to put up a new shower curtain, provide new towels and do what they called a clean of the bath. Luckily I travel with scrubbies, cleaning gloves and disinfectant so was able to clean the surfaces myself. Because the staff changed to curtains as soon as I called them I forgot to take pictures. The rooms we had on our other visits were slightly better but still very dated and not as clean as one would expect. If this is a superior standard hotel, I have to say that I was totally dissatisfied with the condition.
