Beautiful property, nice and helpful staff on the grounds

I paid premium for the "Stargazer Suite" which was a nice bungalow with a hot tub outside where you can look at the beautiful sky... Sounds good right ? Tbe tub was ice cold and also shooting cold water in our faces (not properly filled) I brought it to their attention and was told I would get a full refund credited back to Booking... It's been a few weeks and they decided to conveniently forget to keep their promise (they offered)....Nothing I guess they don't want my future business 😞 *The property is nice but it's dated * old fixtures, screams 90's inside the rooms..

Mixed Bag - the grounds and resort are terrific . The room had some problems: The good was the bed, TV, coffee, refried, and the shower - all A+. Problems: The drapes were hard to open and close and after two days were broken (missing hanger hooks etc. - I needed to get them serviced). The outside balcony only had one chair - I needed to call for another. The light on the patio was out and I called it in, but it was not fixed. The air conditioning controls did not work properly - It was difficult to change the temperature - this should have been easy! The carpet was dirty and had numerous stains. The room cleaning was spotty, sometimes the carpet was vacuumed - sometimes not. On Friday, half the room was cleaned - and then abandoned - no fresh towels, no pick-up of dirty towels, no bags in garbage cans, no fresh glasses, no vacuuming, no soap, no TP. Called it in and only partly corrected.

It went wrong from the get go. I emailed that I wanted to bring my dog, they never answered. I didn't want to chance it as some hotels have a weight limit so we took her to a doggie hotel instead before coming here, just to avoid problems. Unfortunately the problems found us. The front desk lady couldn't find me on their system when we arrived for our weekend stay. Instead of asking for my ID to verify spelling which wouldn't have been a problem, she immediately questioned me if I had even made a booking at all. My problem with this is she was blaming me for her incompetence, and assuming I would lie about making a booking. Why would I do that? I was upset but didn't argue. I told her yes, verified the date and hotel then volunteerd my driver's and ID by placing them on the counter. She didn't even look at them to verify my identity or double check spelling. After a while she asked for my booking number, but didn't listen to the rest of the remaining digits as she was already walking away. I had placed my cellphone on the counter with the confirmation number visible so we could both read it, as I read it aloud. She never looked, she never verified. Her walking away struck me as odd, but I erroneously assumed she must have found my booking. She told me there was a standard hold. No problem, I always expect one. I didn't sign or authorize any other payments outside of a standard hold. I wasn't informed of any other charges. I thought everything was rectified. I was still internally upset at the initial rude exchange, assuming that I had lied about booking as the first step in resolving a problem but relieved that we were finally checked in. Things can only get better, right? No. There was no mini fridge or any kind of fridge. This was my error for not checking ammeneties, I didn't think I would have to check to see if a four-star resort has a mini-fridge. A first for me that it didn't.

It is nice feeling out in the middle of the desert, rather than wedged into a parking lot of a strip mall.

If you are downstairs (the "desert view" rooms) you can hear people in the above units (the "scenic view" rooms).

Cozy, quiet, lots of easy going vibes and activities

Breakfast was delicious. Beautiful hotel.

I reserved an ADA room to accommodate my Mother but the bed was too high for her. I had to get a stool to help her .
