Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa

This was, without a doubt, the best St. Patrick’s Day Tea I’ve ever experienced! From the moment we were greeted with such a cheerful welcome at the Sonoran Ballroom doors, we knew we were in for something special. Walking into the beautifully decorated, almost fairy-tale-like ballroom completely exceeded our expectations. As a mother-daughter outing, this event made for the perfect date. We were absolutely delighted by the stunning presentation of the tables, filled with delicious finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and authentic (and incredibly delicious!) clotted cream. The variety of hot teas was wonderful, and we especially enjoyed the festive Irish drink options that added a fun, “green” twist to the experience. The service was truly outstanding. The waitstaff were attentive, friendly, and incredibly aware of every table’s needs throughout the entire tea. And then…dessert—OH MY GOODNESS! The homemade macarons, cheesecake bites, freshly baked éclairs, and the most adorable (and tasty) teacup and shamrock sugar cookies were simply unforgettable. A special shoutout to Annette, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was warm, attentive, and constantly checking in to ensure our experience was perfect. “Z,” the Ballroom Captain, kept everything running seamlessly and was so kind and humble when we shared how impressed we were. Manager Misael was also incredibly present and gracious—assisting guests, engaging with each table, and ensuring both guests and staff were well taken care of. This was truly a 5-star event in every way. I’m already looking forward to attending future teas and highly recommend these events to anyone looking for a magical and memorable experience!

Room is great. Views are great. Very relaxing, in the middle of the desert feeling.

Its location north of Tucson is great to visit the Saguaro NP, the Sabino Canyon Rec area and Biosphere 2.

The room felt a bit heavy with its dark furniture. The shower is in a bathtub.

Is like a paradise, beautiful landscape, lots of birds around, great pools, wonderful trails and facilities. Diana at the front desk is very nice. Barbara the manager is excellent. Rosario at the restaurant is the best!

Room and bathroom size, plus location

Reasonably priced resort with a lot of amenities and a relaxing place to stay. There were families and retired people in about equal numbers. The resort never seemed crowed or loud. Our room was very large as was the bathroom. There were outdoor heated pools in three locations and outdoor inground hot tubs in two different locations. We had beautiful weather the week we stayed and usually at on the outdoor dining terrace overlooking the pool with the mountains in the background and not only enjoyed nice dinners but beautiful sunsets. If you are there on a Sunday, ask for the special prime rib that is not on the menu. It was delicious and inexpensive. There was a very nice exercise facility with resistance machines, treadmills, stationary bikes, and free weights (dumbbells). The tennis courts and pickle ball courts looked very nice and there appeared to be a ball machine to rent for tennis. This was a very nice, clean, quiet, resort that would have about anything you would want. Service was generally good. I would definitely return to this resort.
