Location is great

Poor quality cocktails. Recipes not right. Poor quality ingredients for breakfasts. Cheap sausages and bacon. Beds uncomfortable. Bathroom in family room small considering room is for families up to 4 people. Only two chairs in room. Tired curtains and decor. Some of the staff weren’t nice One of the nights we were there told couldn’t use the restaurant as tour groups in. Didn’t feel value for money given high room rate. Breakfast in addition.

No me gustó que hice la reserva no reembolsables y me llegaron como 10 correos y SMS con links para que vuelva a cargar los datos de la tarjeta, cosa que no hice, no sé si esto es un problema del hotel o de booking. Pero una vez hecha la reserva y pagada a través de la plataforma está mal enviar links de pago porque obviamente uno supone que se trata de un engaño.

We were put in a handicap room. We are not handicapped.

Stayed with teenage daughter for two nights. We had a family room so a bed each. Bathroom was small for a family room. Curtains had seen better days. Great location. The Sunday night we couldn’t get food in the restaurant as they had tour groups eating in there. The breakfast is ok. Good menu for hot food choices but quality of ingredients is poor. The cocktails in the bar were disappointing. Cosmo came with lemon and tasted of lemon instead of lime and orange. Hardly any cranberry juice. Pornstar martini lacked passionfruit! Came with orange. Both didn’t taste correctly and you’re paying high prices for cocktails! The black bull across the road does great cocktails. You’re paying a premium for this hotel because the location is great. The rest could be improved. Lots of reviews say this hotel is noisy. The great location is in the hub of the action so yes there is bound to be noise from outside. Not sure id stay again as not good value for money.

Stayed at this hotel as a family of 4 for 2 nights. The only good things going for it are the location which is excellent and the staff were very good. The hotel has no air conditioning in the rooms and even though the temperature outside was max 20 degrees the temperature inside was unbearable. Had to have the window open and the noise outside meant a night with no sleep at all. The bathroom was very off-putting with mould stains and generally looked grubby. There were also Stains on carpet and curtains. The hotel needs updating and then it might warrant the over £300 per night rate!

No water in the room, just a note to say you could find a water fountain 1 floor down.
