The front desk service was very helpful and they were very friendly. The food was very tasty. Everyone made us feel welcome. Also loved the fluffy and extra large towels.

The location is fantastic! It looks out to Edinburgh Castle and is a short walk to Victoria Street. Very centrally located to everything.

It was very warm in the hotel hallways and the room. We were sweating and were told there was nothing to be done. They did provide a fan that just blew around the hot air. Very uncomfortable. Also fridge in room barely worked and we were told that they didn’t work well. Also be careful climbing into the tub/shower it’s very tall.

The location was great along with the view

The room was hot and stuffy. There is a fan in the wardrobe but no air conditioning. The shower pressure was also not great.

"Hot and Noisy"

No air con in the rooms. Tired and dated hotel needing a refurb. Don’t bother if you want to actually sleep! Noisy outside. Hot inside. Pretty pricey.

Amazing location to base yourself from to explore beautiful Edinburgh. Room was clean and well appointed apart from no Airconditioning which was uncomfortable even on 22 degree days. Window can’t be left open as the Grassmarket pubs are quite noisy (til midnight Saturday). A small fan was provided. Breakfast was good and out of all of the hotels we stayed at on our UK trip - the staff were the friendliest - would go out of their way to help.
