Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Dover

To begin, the hotel itself is in a convenient location, comfortable, clean and has a nice breakfast. That is why we still give the hotel a perfect rating despite an issue we had that has since been resolved. This is merely information for potential guests regarding our experience. An issue arose on 2 separate occasions at this hotel regarding payment. Hotel was prepaid using Priceline but hotel says they had not received the funds. So hotel needs to charge a card directly in order to secure payment. This results in paying twice, once to Priceline and once to the hotel directly. What follows is about a week or more of back and forth trying to get a refund on either end. Responses have varied from Priceline blaming the hotel to blaming their billing partner, Agoda. And hotel blames Priceline. We have booked other Fairfields and Marriott hotels using the same third party and credit card. We have only had this experience at this particular location. Again, the issue has been resolved and there was no problem with the hotel itself. This is only to inform others of a potential problem with billing if they choose this hotel using Priceline.

This place was great! The room was clean and spacious and the front desk worker was so nice. Continental breakfast, coffee 24/7, and great food options around you.

Staff is friendly, amenities where wonderful and it is located in a great radius to many eateries and things to do!

We stayed here for a business trip and enjoyed the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. Breakfast was tasty with both meat and bread options. We had no issues during our stay and recommend others take a look at the Fairfield if you are in the Dover/Smyrna area.

You could hear conversations in adjoining room. Walking, dropping things in rooms on the floor above. Seems like poor carpet insulation.
