"It's not as bad as reviews say!"

6.0

After reading reviews on this hotel, we were absolutely dreading our stay here. However, it wasn't that bad. Good Points: - Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable - perhaps one of the best sleeps we have had in a hotel! - It's a great location if you're going to Disneyland Paris. A 10 minute drive or a 10 minute walk to the bus stop (it's by the train station) which cost €2 each there and back (highly rate the bus service) it's cheap and still only takes 10/15 minutes. - Staff are nice & friendly and help where they can. Check-in was easy. - Car park is good, never had issues. Felt safe enough to leave car there. - The hotel is secure (unlike other revirws stated) as you need a code to get in the building which will be on your room key. Bad Points - Bathroom is tiny and the shower will flood the bathroom so we had to put towels down to dry it. - Breakfast is not worth the money! We did eat it whilst there as we were on a budget and suppose it's not bad if you don't want much to eat. There's nice hot fresh croissants and bread rolls, cheese, butter, yogurt, jam, cornflakes and some biscuits available. - The rooms are very small and out-dated, could perhaps do with a deep clean and a refurb. - The village of Esbly is a bit run down. We planned on eating out there but there was literally no where. So we just ate at places in Disney Village it was cheap enough! Overall, our 3 night stay here was enjoyable. For the money you pay, it's absolutely fine. Don't fear if you've booked this hotel like we did. Especially if it's for a Disneyland Paris stay you'll be saving lots of money. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy and maids go in every day. Fresh sheets and towels provided. Yes it has its flaws but not sure what else you'd expect from a 2 star hotel when paying so little. It's not the horror story people make it out to be! And the Wi-Fi signal is great we watched Netflix on our laptop every night! Side note. There was 2 of us for 3 nights and 2 days in the 2 Disney parks. We had 250 euros between us and went home with spare and even got a souvenir! You really don't need a lot of money!

"HORRIBLE! "

2.0

Unfortunately I did not look at the reviews here before booking as most hotels within our price budget were fully booked. Having paid for 3 nights, we only survived one night. This place is filthy, rooms are tiny and bathrooms (the size of plane toilets) have a horrible smell! Breakfast is disgusting. Reception staff actually smiled when we told them that we were checking out earlier!! HORRIBLE!! AVOID!!

"Cheap clean hotel "

8.0

You got what you paid for with the room, but you have a bed shower and bathroom so you don't need much else. Could do with tea and coffee facilities in room as there's a coffee machine in reception but no tea. The staff were very helpful and friendly. (remember to take a plug adapter) If you ask they will help and give you the information you need. The train and bus stops is about a 15 min walk from hotel but is a straight Road and the bus takes 13 mins to go to Disney land and costs 1.49 per person The train takes 33 minute get into Paris and is 7.20 return so not too bad. Beware of taxis from the airport we was totally ripped of and cost a fortune. Before he set off it had already cost us 5 euros. He went the long way and they got lost three times we got charged for all this. Ended up paying 75 euros bloody rip off should have even 45 so please beware. They will not tell you a price before hand and they spend the whole time on the phone.

"Just what we needed"

10.0

We stayed over night here before going onto DLP. Check in was very easy, it was self check in as it was past 9pm The room was very clean and modern with a good TV and ensuite bathroom. It was small so might have been a squish for more than a night or two but fitted our needs perfectly. Hotel staff were friendly, easy to find, plenty of parking. It took about 7 minutes to drive to Sequoia Lodge at DLP

"not a bad hotel "

6.0

This is a nice hotel with basic, small rooms. Not suitable if you are travelling via public transport a car is essential. Train route isn't via Disney and a taxi would be expensive. The rooms are clean but not gleaming but for the price we paid we can't complain. There are people who seem to be living at this hotel so the smell of cooking is really disgusting in the corridors but once in your room you can't smell it. The breakfast is available I think €6 for continental but we didn't try it however was always busy. Would stay again as a base for Disney if the price was as cheap again

"Good"

4.0

Hotel was OK for the money we paid. Suppose you get what you pay for. There was no lock on the bathroom door and the shower was tiny. The staff were quite friendly but spoke very little English witch was a bit difficult. Not very ideal if you want to get around by public transport as there's no bus stops near, the nearest train station is a 15 minute walk.

"It's ok"

6.0

Me and the missus stayed for 2 nights at Balladins in Esbly. I must say ,friendly People behind the desk. Breakfast isn't that bad, although when it busy you have to wait for your petit pains and croissants and coffee because personel is Way to busy. From the outside it looks like a dodgy prison, but its a good cheap hotel when you going to Disneyland!

"Less than 15minutes drive to Disneyland"

6.0

This hotel was very basic. It's a hard bed and a shower that had a tendency to flood at the end of a long day. We spent the majority of our time out and about. It's a 20 minute walk to the local train station where for €17 you can get a train to Paris and a day pass on the Metro. However we mostly picked this hotel for its proximity to Disneyland and the price. The hotel was clean and the maid service came in every day. There was little clothing storage (a single rack hung from the wall with 4 coat hangers and an open bookcase style shelving unit that was less than knee high).

"One-Night Stay near Disneyland"

2.0

Horrible receptionists and dirty hotel. Stained pillows, cigarette burns on bedspread, toilet seat completely detached from fixture resulting in buttskating when getting on off, the list can go on. What made matters worse is the two receptionists we met (Sunday night 7/10/16 and Monday morning 7/11/16) refused to help us when they gave us two single rooms despite the fact that we paid for triple and quadruple rooms. When I spoke to the receptionist the next morning with the intention of notifying her about the toilet fixture issue (they DID switch our rooms but only after we threatened to call the manager), I was greeted with a "We're not open" despite the fact that she was working on the computer. Anyway, since when is a hotel "not open" when a paying customer would like to notify the management about a problem with a room? Stay away from this place, and if you are a manager of this hotel, perhaps you want to do a better job with customer relations and communication training of your employees. We will cancel our current reservation with this chain at another location in France we had planned to stay at. We prefer our money go elsewhere where cleanliness and respect is at least attempted and not overtly disdained.
