Close to excellent public transport, which is easy to use

This hotel is in a quiet area five to ten minutes by foot north of Hamburg Central Station. The night desk clerk was polite and helpful, and the room, while without any bells and whistles, was clean and quiet. Breakfast the next morning was about average for a German hotel in its class. Overall, this was value for money, and a good choice if you need a place to sleep near the central station.

Room was very clean and offers fair value. Breakfast offers a good choice.However would not recommend our room that had been allocated on the first floor at the front. It was very noisy. The Bar opposite does not really come to life on a Sunday until the other bars locally have closed and Friday and Saturday night was noisy when we came back at midnight and did not become quiet after 2am . The room does not have air conditioning and we stayed during a hot period. In the end we had to keep the windows closed because of the noise which does help to some extent but nowhere near adequate. Great location to center of town.

We had a quick overnight in Hamburg and arrived by train late at night. This hotel is literally right around the corner from the station. The room was tiny and basic, but clean. The breakfast was in a lovely, bright room with a good selection and nice strong coffee! The bus station was right across the street and overall this is exactly what we needed for our stay there.

Beds are not comfortable. Rooms run a little hot and there is no AC. Only 1 elevator but not too busy. Very large room. You can easily hear noises from adjacent rooms.

The place is really nice, in a safe quiet neighborhood around the corner from the main train station. Check with them about bed configuration though: I thought I upgraded to a queen but instead I got two full-sized. I was only one traveler so it wasn't necessary, but also didn't really cost much more. Just kinda weird to have so many beds when I didn't need it.

I was looking for a no thrills hotel with a single room in connection with participating in hamburg marathon. The hotel was ideal. Central, yet without street noise. 5min walk to the central station. Breakfast was simple, fresh and the coffee was good and strong. Room was clean and perfunctory. Only fly in the ointment was some of the other noisy guests who insisted on talking to each other through closed doors. Their early morning conversation about prostate problems left me glad that I never mastered more German. All in all, a good, wallet-friendly option, that I will use again.

Easy check in. Staff friendly & helpful. Room clean, comfortable and quiet. Just a short walk from Central Station. Lots of bars and restaurants close by.

Lovely hotel. Stayed in a single room which was a good size. Bathroom was good size and clean. Soap was supplied at the sink and in the shower. Clean towels slso supplied.

This was my second stay at this hotel , very friendly and helpful staff , good location for transport and a very pleasing breakfast , all in all , wunderbar .
