not much. staff were nice and doing g the best they could.

no internet, no hot water, no breakfast as advertised, broken tv.

I was skeptical, but I only needed one night, and I figured I could deal with anything. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! This room was like a welcoming hug. I am including pictures so you do not have to take my word for it! Very clean, it smelled CLEAN and not like someone just spilled some bleach around!!! This room is better appointed than most higher end chain hotels. I have traveled all over the world, and I will definitely choose here again. The only reason it isn't a 10 is because there was no coffee pot, when I mentioned that at the desk she was crushed. A regular monthly customer had just left for vacation, and he had his own coffee maker. She just forgot to put theirs back in the room. No worries, the bed made up for it....very firm, but not a board! I will be back, never had a better room well, not exactly true, I stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Dubai, but it was $750/night! The price at America's Best... much less!

The overall appearance of the building and grounds, like the lights wrapped around the Palm trees. The finishing touches in the room, like the basket for dirty towels, a vase on the narrow shelving unit, and a tiny basket with greenery hanging from a towel hook in the bathroom. The staff were friendly and accomadating.

The TV was antenna only, no cable. No instructions in the room on how to operate the TV, though the staff helped me with that. However, when I turned the TV back on in the morning, I had to figure out through trial and error how to get to where I could get some channels, but the reception wasn't very could. The hot water took forever to heat up. I actually had given up and resigned myself to a cold shower when the water began to warm up finally. Lastly, no Wi-Fi if I'm not mistaken.

The bed was like sleeping on a pallet. The floor was warped and buckled in the room on the second floor. The office didn’t call to verify our arrival time so we waited 2 hours at midnight for her to return. Another person had the same problem. We paid for a room for 24 hrs and only used it for 3hrs. Very little customer service.
