Super 8 by Wyndham Ft Walton Beach

The location is great, super quiet at night. I’ve stayed here 3 times and always felt safe. Fresh paint on the exterior, though I personally liked the lighter color scheme. Very affordable. The bedding is clean, not a single bug of any kind, even when we accidentally left a potato chip on the floor all day. This is the place to stay if your goal is to have a quiet, clean space to sleep and shower. Water gets plenty hot.

Front desk staff was super unfriendly and acted like I was a bother while checking in. (She said she was new, probably in her 20’s.) ZERO please/thank you, not a smile in sight, just stared at me when I spoke. There was a small issue with my booking and she was no help. The room we got wasn’t what we booked. We were so frustrated by the front desk girl, so we dealt with it. We booked 2 queens and wound up with a queen and a double. The double was in this weird corner of the room. The bathroom was quite small. The mattresses need to be rotated or replaced. Large indentions where people sleep. Still decently comfortable, at least. Shower head was a mess. There was metal broken off inside of the blow dryer. It was extremely loud and shot out black shards. Super scary!

Upon check in the man was not very nice. Our third day housekeeping finally got our trash. There’s a magnet that says do not disturb however for safety reasons we will enter anyway well that didn’t happen with or without magnet.

We had a great stay at the super 8 great price also. Very clean and nice. Pool was nice also. Ms. Ashley in the office was super sweet and friendly. When we go back next year we will be staying here again. Nice park across the street and close to everything. Beaches just 2 miles away. The bay is just right down the road. Lots of fun stuff to do also. I recommend this place to everyone. No bugs, no problems, no complaints! We will be back! Love super 8 and ms.Ashley!!

You get what you pay for. The room smelled of mildew, the dresser was broken down and drawers hanging off, staff not rude but not friendly. Pool was nice.

Location was the only thing going for this place.

Our room had roaches and the front desk acted like it's a normal occurrence and said "what do you want me to do about it?"
